Kering unveils details from Boucheron’s new Carte Blanche collection, Or Bleu, dedicated to a vital and precious resource – water. To create the new Or Bleu Carte Blanche High Jewelry collection, Boucheron’s Creative Director Claire Choisne and her team embarked on an inspirational journey to Iceland, where the waters are strong, powerful, and raw. Amidst this breathtaking scenery, water became the muse for the "Or Bleu" collection. Each of the 26 new High Jewelry pieces are like a snapshot of nature. To illustrate this vision, German landscape photographer Jan Erik Waider followed Claire's journey, capturing Iceland through her eyes. His photographs perfectly illustrate the parallels between the natural elements and the corresponding High Jewelry pieces of Or Bleu. Sound and High Jewelry intertwine under the same vision. This year, Maison Boucheron collaborated with the French artist Molecule. Following Claire Choisne's footsteps in Iceland, he stepped into nature to capture the real sounds of waterfalls and crashing waves to create a composition especially made for the 'Or Bleu' collection. Sharing Boucheron's values and vision, he was a natural fit for this collaboration. His compositions add an auditory element, capturing the raw, powerful forces of water that inspired the new 26 High Jewelry creations. Discover more about Claire Choisne's journey and the collaboration with Jan Erik Waider and Molecule in the new podcast miniseries on the 'Boucheron True Stories' channel – available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. https://lnkd.in/eR8Gn3Gp #CarteBlancheHighJewelry #OrBleu

In celebration of Kering's commitment to sustainability, employees from the Group and our Houses joined our beekeeping team for a day-long introduction to biodiversity.   In the morning, small groups harvested honey from the beehives in the Kering gardens, under the supervision of our beekeepers. This was followed by an insightful conversation with eminent insect scientist François Lasserre, about the often-misconceived role of insects in our ecosystems.   Participants also had the chance to craft their own candles made with beeswax and learn more about the honey extraction process. To top off the day, everyone enjoyed a honey tasting session, experiencing the rich, diverse flavors of our sustainably harvested honey.   Apiterra Ekodev   Learn more about Kering’s biodiversity strategy: https://lnkd.in/eZDDG7rz    #KeringForSustainability Photos Credits: Marie Hamel & Eric Sander

Yesterday, Kering Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer, Marie-Claire Daveu attended Christie's Art+Tech summit in New York.    Taking part in a panel discussion in conversation with Julien Pradels, Christie’s Global Head of Operations, on ‘Thoughtful Luxury’, Marie-Claire Daveu highlighted the role of the Luxury industry in driving sustainability:  “Luxury has a strong responsibility in changing the paradigm because it is a fact: when it comes to raising awareness on environmental issues, scientists sometimes have less impact on the general public than artistic directors do. Therefore, Luxury needs to use its influential voice to help shift how the industry operates.”    Further, she added that in order to drive change effectively, companies have to put sustainability at the core of their strategy, after which both leaders and managers in the organizations need to be incentivized on quantitative sustainability targets.   Learn more about Kering’s sustainability commitments: https://lnkd.in/e3s95QC   #KeringForSustainability
