Today, September 5th, is the International Day of #Charity. Did you know that Vallourec is committed to promoting a sustainable, diverse, safe, and respectful #environment for the benefit of its local stakeholders? Vallourec is involved in numerous support programs that encourage donations and voluntary initiatives in #education, environmental care, health, and the development of its local communities. In 2023, Vallourec dedicated about 2.3 million euros to such initiatives. 🌎 In 2023 in Brazil, Vallourec conducted more than 135 actions in cultural, educational, social, and sports activities in the #communities of Barreiro, Jeceaba, and Mineração, especially for children and the elderly. 🌎 In 2024 in North America, in collaboration with the association "The Neighborhood Forest," Vallourec offered 3,800 white cedars to its employees and school children in Ohio to plant in their gardens. This action aims to highlight the importance of maintaining #biodiversity. 🌏 In Indonesia, Vallourec provided basic #necessities and food packages as assistance for underprivileged families. Additionally, with the association "Free the Sea," the Group participated in planting mangroves on the island of Batam. Mangroves help preserve the ecosystem that protects nearby communities by reducing erosion and forming a natural barrier during storms.

𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐜 Vallourec is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition by ArcelorMittal of Apollo funds’ stake in Vallourec. As a result of the acquisition, ArcelorMittal holds 28.4% of the voting rights and 27.5% of the share capital of the Company. ArcelorMittal have entered into a new shareholder agreement. This transaction was made possible by the New Vallourec plan, which was announced in May 2022 a few weeks after Philippe Guillemot assuming the role of Chairman of the Board and CEO in March 2022. The New Vallourec plan has transformed the Group into a focused, streamlined, and resilient company with a promising future. Vallourec’s 2023 earnings were the best Group results in nearly 15 years. The Group has reduced its net debt by more than €1.1 billion versus third quarter 2022 peak, to €364 million in the second quarter of 2024. Vallourec is now ahead of plan in its objective to reach zero net debt by the end of 2025 at the latest and as a result intends to begin returns to its shareholders in 2025 at the latest, subject to approval by its Board of Directors and its shareholders. The board of directors have appointed Mr. Genuino Magalhaes Christino and Mr. Keith James Howell as directors and Mr. Aditya Mittal, as observer. Recently, Vallourec conducted a technical seminar for its customers in Egypt, focusing on #OCTG training and showcasing Vallourec's innovative #services, such as WAAM, Pre-Installed Cable Protectors, TallyVision, and Prime Mapping. The seminar highlighted the significance of the new API 5CT revision and the need to adapt specific grades and connections for the Egyptian market. Attendees valued the opportunity to refresh their knowledge of OCTG products and participated in productive discussions about improving operations and safety with Vallourec's solutions.
