The Direction de la Recherche et de la Valorisation (DiReV) is a central service integrating all the skills required for the administrative and financial support of research. From doctoral studies to research development, DiReV offers a fully integrated range of services to the entire scientific community. Related to the Research Funding Department, the Justification Unit is responsible for drawing up financial statements and providing advice and training to research units.
The position of Financial Justification Officer enabled me to understand the issues facing the unit and my colleagues, which is why I applied for the position of Manager.
My tasks at this position were :
• Coordination, animation and management of a team of 4 agents in charge of the financial justification of contracts
• Drawing up financial reports in the context of research and training contracts (international, European, national)
• Establishing indicators and the management chart linked to the activity of the unit
• Establishing procedures inherent to the justification of contracts
• Continuation of missions related to the justification of research and training contracts
• Ensure the interface between the different interlocutors (scientific holder, financial correspondent, accounting services)
• Contact with internal and external partners
• Participates in the PUI's internal coordination meetings
• Participates in management conferences to present the functioning of the office Voir moins

The Direction de la Recherche et de la Valorisation (DiReV) is a central service integrating all the skills required for the administrative and financial support of research. From doctoral studies to research development, DiReV offers a fully integrated range of services to the entire scientific community. Related to the Research Funding Department, the Justification Unit is responsible for drawing up financial statements and providing advice and training to research units. My tasks at this position were :
• Analysis of contracts, their financial annexes and the financial regulations of the donors before justification
• Analysis of transactions to ensure their eligibility
• Preparation of financial statements of contracts after having carried out checks on the financial annexes
• Verification of accounting data to ensure that they are consistent with what is justified
• Contacting internal and external partners
• Performing extractions in the SIFAC software Voir moins

As part of a project management course (involve in the laboratory of industrial management), we were asked to combine our skills to manage the implementation and construction of a turnkey nuclear power plant. In charge of the economic sector, I was responsible for the evaluation and economic and financial analysis of the project as well as the feasibility study.

In team, we responded to a call for tender where we had the task of carrying out the new advertising campaign of the Åbo Akademy for incoming exchange students.
