Servier’s governance model headed by a non-profit foundation aligns perfectly with the long-term perspective required for research and development. Our independence from market forces means we can invest heavily in R&D to innovate and develop new medicines.
In 2023, the Servier Research and Development Institute, with its 45.000 sqm and capacity for 1500 employees, opened its doors in the cross-disciplinary innovation hub at Paris-Saclay. In a few years’ time, this scientific hub of excellence will be home to nearly 25% of all scientific research activities in France. The idea is that Servier will be able to develop a more agile and open approach to R&D that centers even more closely around the patient to speed up the discovery of innovative therapeutic solutions.
For our department of Screening Sciences, we seek a highly skilled and enthusiastic scientist to work at our R&D Institute in Paris-Saclay. You will be leading a team devoted to assay development, screening and profiling and you will be a core team member for therapeutic projects. You will benefit from close proximity and strong interactions with other key players in early Drug Discovery and a vibrant atmosphere of innovation.
We seek an individual with a PhD in life sciences and relevant post-doctoral experience in the some of the following fields:
Enzymes as therapeutic targets and mechanistic Enzymology
Ion-channels as therapeutic targets and Electrophysiology
Imaging and HCS
Discovery of anti-sense oligonucleotides as therapeutic agents
Neuronal models for screening
Assay development, miniaturisation and automation
If you display an interesting combination of these, don't hesitate to apply!
