The Arizona Cardinals added some receiving help in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft Friday, selecting Purdue WR Rondale Moore.

Moore won the Paul Hornung Award as college football’s most versatile player in 2018. He was a monster as a Purdue freshman, going for 1,471 scrimmage yards and 14 total touchdowns, but injuries limited him to a combined seven games, 692 yards and 3 scores the last two seasons.

In Arizona, Moore joined a crowded receiver room that includes DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and offseason signee A.J. Green. Moore profiles as a definite slot weapon, and with no obvious pass-catching tight end on the Cardinals roster, he could slide right into that role in Arizona as well. That said, Hopkins is the obvious top target here, and Kirk will command work as well. Moore has some definite upside in PPR, but the chances of him being anything more than a fill-in/deep flex option as a rookie are slim. Still, he’s definitely a receiver to stash in dynasty. — Daniel Kelley
