Ryan Brown miraculously took down two players during a wild runout at the WSOP 2023

At Tuesday’s installment of this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event, two world-class poker players got eliminated from the tournament after a blistering three-way battle.

Indeed, Bill Klein and Stuart Taylor got taken down in a tense hand with about $3 million on the table by Ryan Brown, who had put about $1.19 million of his stack all-in early in the hand and took out Klein first (all-in with about half a million) with his boldness.

It’s just hard in poker to know exactly where the wind is going to blow, and a 10 on the river gave Brown the surprise victory for the whole pot after it looked like Taylor might’ve sneaked out with the win before the last card.

This is an absurd way to get thrown off the table by a bad draw, and kudos to Brown for his gumption to know when to push all the chips in at the right time.

As for Klein and Taylor, that’s rough. You win some, and you lose some. However, it’s just nice not to have to lose that badly.
