As the 2024 Iowa State Fair gets underway this week, a butter sculpture of the state’s women’s basketball star is taking center stage.
Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark, who played her college basketball at Iowa, was the inspiration for said butter statue, and you’ve got to see the detail on this impressive creation.
Of course, the Clark butter sculpture is wearing an Iowa jersey instead of a Fever one, as Iowa fans enshrine one of the state’s athletic legends in very appropriate state fair fashion.
Clark made a delightful appearance at the Indiana State Fair this week, and now her butter sculpture counterpart will greet state fair guests in Iowa.
