2024 NHL Draft Order: Where each team will pick in the first round

The lottery balls have officially been drawn and the San Jose Sharks will select No. 1 overall at the 2024 NHL Draft.

The Sharks finished last in the NHL in the 2023-24 season, going 19-54-9 for the highest lottery odds for the No. 1 overall pick. It was a rough season in San Jose, but their consolation prize of picking No. 1 overall isn’t bad at all. The Sharks have also never had the first overall pick in the draft as well.

With the No. 1 overall pick, it is expected that the Sharks will select highly-touted center Macklin Celebrini out of Boston University. Celebrini is the youngest college hockey player to win the Hobey Baker Award, which he won during his 64-point freshman season.

Here is the full list of where teams are drafting in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
