The 2024 Olympics come to an end on Sunday afternoon in Paris, capping off two weeks of incredible competition. Once again, Team USA finished atop the medal table, winning 40 gold medals — tied with China for first — and hauling in an impressive 126 total medals.

Gold medalists this year ranged all the way from 16 years old — track and field sprinter Quincy Wilson — to 42-year-old Diana Taurasi of the women’s basketball team. The ladies put in work in Paris, winning 26 of Team USA’s 40 gold medals (65%), with standouts like gymnast Simone Biles, swimmer Torri Huske and runner Gabby Thomas all winning three gold medals each.
