Ranking the best remaining NHL free agents in the 2024 offseason

The NHL’s free agency period is well and truly underway, with many teams making meaningful signings within the first few hours. It was a chaotic couple of hours and now that the dust has settled, a lot has changed across the NHL landscape.

Now, however, begins the slowest period in the hockey calendar, when the majority of teams have completed their business and go about their summers. Many of the biggest hockey names have already been taken off the board, but there are still some names out there that will no doubt garner attention before the summer finishes.

We already ranked the biggest free agents heading into July 1, but let’s take a look at the best remaining UFAs left going forward.
