ACET President & CEO, Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi, recently participated in the #SDGs Action Summit 2024 hosted by the SDGs Advisory Unit of the Office of the President, Ghana. As a panelist on the High-Level Panel, “Scaling Up Actions through Policy, Governance, and Institutional Reforms,” Mavis emphasized the importance of African countries collaborating to transform their economies through building green value chains. This approach will create decent jobs for our rapidly growing youth population, support export diversification, and generate much needed revenue to achieve the SDGs. With less than seven years until the 2030 deadline, it is imperative that we recommit to our collective goals and accelerate progress.
