About us

The Population, Family and Reproductive Health (PFRH) department was established as a derivative of the University of Ghana Johns Hopkins Bill and Melinda Gates Institute collaboration initiative in 2002. It is by far the largest in the School of Public Health recording a yearly intake of at least 12 students for the public health programme. We research the following areas: Maternal and Women’s Health Child Health Sexual and Reproductive Health Adolescent Health Population Health HIV and AIDS
