Meet Our Woman CanDo for this month of August. Congratulations 👏💕 Dr Wendy Luhabe Dr Wendy Luhabe is a renowned South African social entrepreneur and businesswoman. She has founded and led various organizations, including Women Investment Portfolio Holdings, which revolutionized women's participation in South Africa's economy. She has held numerous director and chairperson positions, including at the Industrial Development Corporation, Vendome SA, and the International Marketing Council. Luhabe has received several honors and awards for her leadership and contributions, including being recognized as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum. She has also established the Wendy Luhabe Foundation to educate disadvantaged black women. She is also the Co-Founder of ATG Samata, a firm dedicated to accelerating equal access to capital and opportunity for talented entrepreneurs in emerging markets. In addition to her work at Africa Trust Group and ATG Samata, Phiri is a shareholder and board chair at Zoona Zambia, a mobile payments business providing financial services in underserved areas. She is also a shareholder at Africa Trust Academy, a coaching and consulting company focused on leadership, entrepreneurship development, and financial literacy. Phiri is a passionate advocate for women's leadership and entrepreneurship development in Africa, committed to advancing gender equality and empowerment.
