How can you handle missed deadlines with a customer?
Handling a deadline with a customer is one of the most difficult aspects of the job. As much as I can, I take full responsibility and do my best to be as transparent as I can with the customer, putting myself in their shoes and understanding how it will make them feel. I do my best to apologise to them in the best possible way and assure them of how important resolving their issue is to me. In most cases, I have seen that keeping in touch with the customer and keeping them updated helps for when situations cannot be resolved immediately, instead of ignoring the customer/not communicating at all
