Notables who missed the cut at 2024 Amundi Evian, including Charley Hull and Yuka Saso

The cut came a day late at the Amundi Evian Championship, and there were a number top-ranked casualties, but Nelly Korda was not among them. After three consecutive missed cuts, the World No. 1 played on after rounds of 69-72. The cut line fell at even par, with 67 players moving on.

Play was suspended on Friday due to dangerous conditions with 66 players needing to complete the second round on Saturday morning in Evian-les-Bains, France, where conditions have notably improved.

Here’s a look at notable names who failed to make the cut in the fourth LPGA major of the season:

Atthaya Thitikul (1 over)

Two weeks after winning her first title in two years at the Dow Championship, Thitikul found herself on the wrong side of the cut line. It’s the young Thai player’s first missed cut at Evian. She’d finished in the top 10 in each of her last three appearances.

Leona Maguire (2 over )

Just days after becoming the first Irishwoman to win on the Ladies European Tour, Maguire didn’t make it to the weekend in France. Maguire took 32 putts each day and hit only 12 fairways over the course of two rounds.

After a T-3 finish at Evian last year, Hataoka exited early this time around with rounds of 71-74. It’s been a tough stretch for the Japanese star after a controversial DQ at the ShopRite.

Charley Hull (6 over )
