Two roommates. One calculus exam. A whole lot of extracurricular activity.

Nate:
Living with four other guys, it's bound to happen.
Every guy's been caught taking care of business at least once, right?
It shouldn't be a big deal.

But I don't know Eric as well as my other roommates, and things are a little awkward now.
He's a loner. A mystery. Quietly confident. Smart.
Sexy as hell.

I've been happily subsisting on the typical frat guy diet of booze and sorority girls.
But the way Eric looked at me that night?
There was something there.
Something that's got me curious.
Something that's stirring up feelings I thought I'd left behind for good.

Something that's making me think I'm not as straight as I thought I was.

I can't get him off of my mind.
I don't think I want to.

So when he offers to help me study for a midterm, I take him up on it.

It's innocent.
Probably. Maybe.

There's no way I could've known what it'd start...

This is a steamy standalone new adult/college mm romance with HEA that unfolds across six "episodes" following Nate and Eric. Now bundled up in one collection with a bonus episode for a seamless reading experience. 87,000 words.

About the author

Neve Wilder

Neve Wilder lives in the southern U.S., where the summers are hot and the winters are...sometimes cold. She is a mom to three rambunctious weebeasts who have joined forces in a mission to carpet the family home with toys and small items that really suck to step on at six in the morning.

She reads promiscuously, across multiple genres, but her favorite stories always contain an element of romance. Incidentally, this is also what she likes to write. Slow-burners with delicious tension? Yes. Whiplash-inducing page-turners, also yes. Down and dirty scorchers? Yes. And every flavor in between.

Neve isn't keen on being limited to one type of story or a single genre. If you enjoy slow burns and musicians, the Rhythm of Love series might be up your alley.

You'll find high heat, crackling sexual tension, and a variety of angst levels in the new adult Extracurricular Activities series that begins with Want Me.

Like smart-ass antiheroes and super steamy thrill rides? Stay tuned for the upcoming Wages of Sin series, which begins with Bad Habits.

If you need a good cry, Center of Gravity is a standalone age-gap slow burn that examines grief, enduring love, and imperfect characters doing their best (or worst, as it were) in shitty situations.

Neve fervently believes David Bowie was the sexiest musician to ever live, and she's always game to nerd out on anything from music to writing.

And finally, she believes that love conquers all. Except the heat index in July. Nothing can conquer that bastard.

I nodded, spreading my legs wider. He curled over me, bracing on one hand while the other found my cock, his grip tighter this time, more friction as he pumped me. Little zings of pleasure sparked in waves across my abdomen, and the next thing I knew, I felt his body fully against me. He was all the way inside me and groaned as I gave a testing clench of my muscles. I didn’t know why I did it; it sent an echo of burn through me. “Again,” he said, and I clenched again. “Fuuuuck, amazing.”

Lawd! This book is hot! Do not read in public.

This story is what happens when Nate discovers a cock in the ass is better that his fingers. Definitely not for everyone, the sex scenes are frequent, by frequent i mean every chapter. I thought i would get bored but i didn't.

MC1: Nate
MC2: Eric

The story is told in single POV, Nate is our main narrator and i loved him. He kept things interesting. I clicked with him from the beginning. He is funny, awkward and damn lovable. It took me a while warm up to Eric, i was not sure what his intentions were at first but slowly warmed up to him and loved him. Nate is one lucky guy.

Our MCs are in college and they read like college students. This author got it right. The writing is fantastic, the dialogue is engaging and the relationship development realistic. No drama llama, just two guys discovering their sexuality and one finally finds out the joys of having a dick deep in his ass. The chemistry between Nate and Eric is explosive.

What i loved the most is the tender moments. Nate and Eric shared some gooey eyes tender moments that had me smiling and awwwwing.

Overall it was enjoyable, hot, sweet and i really liked it.

I read and reviewed all 6 parts of this story individually when they were free through the author's website, so I'm not going to do a single combined review here, thanks, but no thanks. : )

Nate:

Eric:

I'll just say that the arc went from just super sexy to super sexy with feelings.

Or feel free to look at the reviews of the 6 individual parts of the sections that I've already posted here on Goodreads.

So, I've read a Neve Wilder book. I'm blaming my GR friends who won't stop swooning over this series. 😅

While it's definitely not my type of read, I have to say that I really liked the characters, I liked that there were also some tender moments, and the writing is great.

Audio September 2019

Real Talk: Y’all know this book is one of my fave books of the year, and that I freaking love Eric and Nate (especially Eric) so I had high hopes for the audio.

The Narration: 3 Pants Off

So...this wasn’t it and I’m sorely disappointed 😔. I just think this narrator wasn’t the right person to deliver college frat boys; so I did not get the dude bros I was longing for.

😭😭😭😭

AHEM! Folks please gather around while I tell you about one of the sexiest books I have ever read. Neve Wilder came for my edges, my wig, and to burn all the hair I have on my body.

I was expecting only sex but Eric and Nate really captured my heart but yeh mostly the sexy 😈 THIS IS NOT A DRILL WHEN I SAY THE SEX IS HOT. The bedroom, the shower, the bushes, the car, some other bushes, the kitchen and just every-damn- where was 🔥 (trust me).

description

Hear me, hear me, I would like to ask the universe for my very own Eric. What a bitch gotta do to get some of this hot in her own life 😫 I am mad jelly of Nate (lucky bastard). Seriously though, I wasn’t expecting this level of storytelling and just amazing, and Neve Wilder has found a fangirl in me. Thank you for blessing us with the amazing crotch fire goodness.

Whew, that was one sex-filled ride!

If you like college students having bossy-pants sex 24/7 and jocks exploring their sexuality (and exploring it hard), then you will love Want Me.

If I'm being 100% honest, this story had a little too much sex for me. I know, what is my problem?? But, truly, I connect with stories more that have a slow build that lead to explosive sex later in the story. Give me unbearable sexual tension any day of the week! But even though this story took me a few days to get into (yes, it leads with sex and LOTS of it!), I eventually fell for these characters.

My favorite part of the sex was the dirty talk and the way the author just went for it. I mean, nothing held back, just sex and licking and grabbing and everything. I literally couldn't read a single page in front of my kids because they were all NSFW. Yes, it got a little repetitive for me at times, especially near the end, but the scenes still turned my crank.

The romance snuck up on me, but I really felt it in the end. I dug these guys together, and I got a good sense for their personalities and why they made a good team. The romance maybe wasn't squeeze your heart-worthy, but I felt the love between them.

I felt like the story just petered out in the end and didn't have a great conclusion, but that was okay with me. I am curious about other books in this series (lots of potential there), and I can't wait to read them.

Wow.... so this was an excitingly steamy read. I really enjoyed this fun and refreshing take on the roommates to lovers and bisexual awakening tropes. This was an addicting read that was full of fun that had clear character development and intimate personal connections between the two main characters. I loved reading this story and anxiously await for more from this author in this fun universe.

This book right here, y'alls...

Straight to the one-handed read HOF for you, lil bookie.

I bit my lip, debating whether I should just get it over with and start begging, say please. I wanted him to ruin me, make me beg, make me come. Make me do anything.

Neve Wilder was new to me but now she's on my BRING IT shelf because not only was this book hot enough to send local fire departments on high alert it also brought a surprising amount of organic and believable relationship development.

But first let's talk about all the buttons of mine that got annihilated by Nate and Eric.

§ public sex
§ begging
§ public sex
§ rimming
§ public sex
§ big guy bottoming
§ public sex
§ bossy top
§ public sex
§ mild D/s
§ public sex in the library, the gym shower, the backseat & the woods!!!

Conclusion: #thud +

ICYMI, I'm kind of a voyeur and these two boys lit me up like a Christmas tree. On steroids. What I wouldn't give to catch them in flagrante. For science. They have so much chemistry I think they could school some chemists! 🔬🔥 = 🚀 🌑 (and maybe some astronomists?)

The whole story is told from Nate's POV and he is a delight! Honest and genuine that sometimes comes out in the most inopportune times and in the most awkward of fashions, all of which combined to make him crazy, stupid lovable. It's a testament to Wilder's writerly skills that I truly felt and sympathized with his turmoil and hesitancy over his growing feelings for Eric. Though he's not exactly new to same sex shenanigans he's never been this shaken by nor this into another guy.

I didn't know a lot about him beyond that he was majoring in structural engineering. And currently minoring in confusing my dick.

Their relationship begins very casual but Nate soon gets a taste of something that he wants seconds and thirds and fourths of, something only Eric seems able to provide. And Nate's kind of a glutton for it too. Bless him.

As much as I enjoyed the sexy times between them, and I did immensely, I thought Wilder developed their relationship realistically. It wasn't rushed nor did it sail along smoothly. I found myself fully invested in them, loved their dynamic, how relatable their dialogue was throughout and how much fun they have together once they lay their cards on the table.

Each time we got together, it was like one more layer of myself peeled back, and now I lay here feeling... not raw, and not even vulnerable or exposed-though I was all of those things with him, and more than willing to be stripped to my core by him now-but mostly I felt like all the bullshit had been whittled away and I was just me-a closer match to the thoughts that'd always been inside my head.

I would definitely read a follow up in this universe. It seems there might be a couple of secondary characters that could potentially be protagonists in future installments.🤞Plus, I would love to check in on Nate and Eric as well.

Recommended and #ProTip: might not want to read Want Me in public. If you catch me.

No doubt this was a steamy read, but the foreplay was drawn out too much for my taste. I found myself zoning out during most of it. I did very much enjoy the scenes of these guys getting to know each other outside of sex. I know I would have enjoyed it more if the story had been told with duel POVs.

When I read the blurb for this book, I just knew I HAD to read it. I mean come one... two hot and horny college roommates... some studying... Yeah, count me in !!! Just throw in some popcorn as well ;)

I'm down gif - Google zoeken

This book started out as 6 free episodes provided by the author in her newsletter and on her website. I, however, haven't read any of them before and I am glad I didn't because I now got to read them all bundled up in one go. Which I really enjoyed...even though my ereader almost caught on fire, it was damn HOT.

ipad on fire gif - Google zoeken

Eric and Nate are college roommates, together with a couple of more guys. They are not really friends. They both go their own way and don't interact a whole lot. But that is all about the change when Eric catches Nate in the most uncomfortable position a guy can be caught in. With his hands on his dick and a finger up his ass :P

13c53da6909d1d21ace9da9ed45dcd5b.gif (500×244)

The entire book is told from Nate's pov and it soon becomes very clear that frat-boy isn't as straight as he pretends to be. Besides some little events in the past...being caught by Eric turns him on something fierce... so maybe this is something he can explore ??

Eric sure as hell is game, he has always identified as bi-sexual and he loves getting his hands on Nate and bossing him around. Wow, he had a dirty mouth on him...

speech_marks_left_red (4)rYeahhhh. Shit that's good. Lap it up. Get me all wet 'cause I'm coming for that ass in a second.speech_marks_left_red (4)r4

scared-and-horny.gif (480×183)

I gotta say, there is a lot of sex in this book and I do mean a LOT !! I didn't mind though, because it was very very hot and even though they do spend most of their time together between the sheets...or against the wall...they do get to know each other. I did witness their feelings for one another grow.

I could have done with a bit more interaction outside of the bedroom...but that is because I was also curious about the background characters. I am kind of hoping they will get their own story eventually...especially Mark and Jesse.

There wasn't a lot of angst in this one. No real push and pull either. Just two guys going at it like rabbits and falling in love in the process...

I loved it, and if you are a fan of reading fluffy, funny sweet and extremely HOT gay sex, then you should really give this one a go !!

"It was just fooling around. I said it over and over again to myself, but the words refused to sink in; they just sat on the surface of my brain with nowhere to go, because all the dark recesses of me were already filled with him."

Seriously, this book is total perfection and my absolute go-to dirty comfort read. The chemistry between Nate and Eric is absolute perfection. It has just the right level of angsty confusion and sexual awakening, leading to the forever kind of love. And it's laugh-out-loud funny in parts.

Not to mention STEAMY AF.

"On his face was a smirk, the one I internally referred to as level 1c, threat level moderate. Anything higher than that meant I’d probably have my pants around my ankles within a matter of minutes."

In case it wasn't obvious I COMPLETELY LOVE THIS BOOK.

5 stars and then some.

I love Neve Wilder’s books. 😁 No, scratch that, I ADORE her books. 😍 And that’s saying a lot because contemporary is usually not my jam. 😅 But since I listened to my very first book of hers, Dedicated, I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. And boy, I adore this book too. 🥰

Nate has always thought he’s straight. Granted, he had sometimes thought some men pretty hot but nothing that exciting or charming enough to tempt him to cross that rainbow bridge. He’s pretty happy with boobs and Vs, thank you very much. 😂 But when he caught red handed pleasuring himself by his roommate, Eric, it was the highlight, the very climax of his entire sex life. (Pun unapologetically and totally intended! 🤣😂) Eric stirred not only his feelings but the wild and uncontrollable sexual libido he never knew he possessed. Eric makes him feel adventurous, bold, sexy and ridiculously safe. Nate isn’t sure Eric is good for him or not but it’s already too late. Eric has become the drug of Nate’s life.

I have read/listened almost 700 MM books and countless mainstream books at this point. And this book is hands down one of the hottest, most erotic books I have ever read/listened. ❤️🔥 DAMN! 🔥 This girl needed two showers and a whole tub of mint Oreos ice cream to cool the hell down. 😅🔥 Seriously guys, DO NOT LISTEN this audio if you are not home. Because boy, everyone will see you hot and bothered and breathless. 😁 I have seen some people complaining this book is pretty much all about sex but I don’t agree with that sentiment at all. 😌 Yes, this book is heavy on the erotica content but the emotions and feels are all there too, raw, realistic, wild and so authentic. 💜 The emotional struggle between Eric and Nate is angsty and real. They are both newly adult college students who are still finding their own ways in life. And questioning your own newly discovered sexuality and juggling a romance between classes is not an easy thing to handle. I think Neve Wilder did a terrific job portraying human emotions and love through the most intimate act between lovers. 🥰 It was sensual, beautiful, exquisite and enchanting to witness. 😌 And my, I think Kirt Graves outdid himself with the performance of this audio. 👏 It was simply flawless. ❤️ I really can’t find any fault in this audio and even after six enchanting episodes with Nate and Eric, I still can’t get enough of them. I hope this is not the end of this couple and I hope we will get a glimpse into their happily ever after in the future. For now, I need another shower! 😜😉

*4.5* I loved this story. It was sweet, really sexy, and had honest communication.

I didn’t know a lot about him beyond that he was majoring in structural engineering. And currently minoring in confusing my dick.

Yes, this story has a lot of descriptive sex, and multiple sex scenes, but it felt realistic for college-age men.

Erotic gay/bi awakening
NA/college
Housemates
Graphic/detailed sexual scenes
Surprisingly decent communication

I really enjoyed that these two men were not afraid to admit exactly what they wanted. From the bedroom, the locker room, the shower stall, the library, in the woods, and on kitchen counters, these guys had a lot of fun!

“Oh Jesus,” I whispered, because it was a fucking sight. I loved this about him. Loved how he could order me around, shred every trace of my own inhibitions, and fuck me until I teetered on the edge between feeling used and worshipped, then turn around and let me do the same to him.

I was a little tired of hearing about women they had dated previously. I hate when women are put in a story like this just as a plot mover, it feels very manipulative and disrespectful. (Looking at you, For the Fans) Let men love each other, stop using women as props!

This story was more of a dual awakening, as both of them had been with men and women before. Once their relationship was solidified, all the talk of being with other partners disappeared, and I was a happy reader.

My bro Nate at every opportunity:

(literally ANY time, ANY place... Library, basement, at a college dinner, showers stalls, in a bush, cars, infront of an old man walking his chihuahua.... 🐕)

Damn these two were horny for some public sexcapades, and I support that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tbh, I wanted a story with dicks and no plot.... 🍆
I got a story with dicks and not even a whiff of plot 🍆
So you can’t be mad when you get what you ask for 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

But I will say with deepest regret that Kirt Graves absolutely fucked this narration 🤢
He was the wrong choice for a pure smut story, and it didn’t help that he didn’t keep Eric’s accent consistent??
It kept sounding like Thomas from Wolfsong was blowing out Nate’s prostate.
No thank you 🙉

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*It Was Hot*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

I actually like this book, I did. However, there was simply too much sex. Shocking I know. That said, it was still fucking hot. Eric - though I do not like the name due to personal reasons - was so fucking hot. I loved him dominant side. But I do have to be honest that he lost a bit of his appeal in the last chapter. Overall, those two young men loved sex and public sex was a favorite of theirs. But I wish we had actually gotten to know the boys on a more personal, in depth way and not just have crazy hot sexual chemistry they had. I wanted to see them more as a couple out and about instead of it always - mostly leading to sex. While I liked Nate, I did have problems connecting with him in the beginning but the more Eric influenced him - in a good way - the more... relaxed he came. But still, I didn't really feel like I knew the characters. To make a conclusion, I liked it, I liked the characters - though I had wished for more - and the sex was hot.

The characters:
Nate ‘Frat Boy’ Sanders (how old?), majoring in something political? In something Greek? In philosophy? What?! On a scholarship.
Eric (how old?), Nate's roommate and majoring in structural engineering. Got into it because of his dad who died ten years ago as he traveled a lot for work, an engineer, and was on a bridge that collapsed in Japan. His mom, too, as a programmer and software engineer.
Ansel (does tracks), Jesse and Mark, Nate's other roommates. Mark was Nate's fraternity brother, the only one in the house. Ansel was a friend of Mark’s from high school, and Jesse was Nate's dorm roommate freshman year.
Chet and Amanda, friends of Eric.
Marty, Alex, Pierce and Sam fraternity brothers of Nate's.
Ashley, who Nate dated a few months back.
Lana Sanders, Nate's mother.
Bill, Eric's step father.
Mike, Paul and Jensen, high school buddies of Nate.
Shana, a girl Nate had a huge crush on in high school.
Jason, Nate's fraternity president.

Quick basic facts:
Genre: - (New Adult) Contemporary Romance (M/M)
Series: - Series, Book One.
Love triangle? -
Cheating? -
HEA? -
Favorite character? - Eric.
Would I read more by this author/or of series? - Sure.
Would I recommend this book/series? - Sure, if you like plenty of sex.
Will I read this again in the future? - Who knows.

What-
I-
WHO-

I FUCKING DNFED THIS?????????

Mariam, GO CHOKE ON GLASS.

This book was so hot, and it felt... I don't know how, but it felt normal. Like, Eric and Nate's interactions and just the way they were together was NORMAL and in it's own way, it was kinda low-key romantic. Like, we read a ton of books where characters interact together in such an ethereal way, it's like you're living a dream. And with Eric and Nate, they were just so realistic and REAL, they felt REAL in a REAL WORLD, "I could totally imagine them being my neighbor in my gay world" and just, something about it made my dead, cold clowning heart give one simple heartfelt tug.

I was by no stretch of the imagination romantic, even though I was definitely a fool for this man.

I wasn't mushy gushy with Nate in the beginning, he was ten layers of confusion and so much restlessness, and I kind of felt bad for Eric, because that godsent kind of deserved better, but Nate eventually grew on me. He definitely proved his strength of character by the end of the book.

He replaced his fingers with his lips in a slow kiss that was like pressing a finger to the permanent bruise I had for him. Always tender, always aching, always wanting.

And Eric.... *sigh* the bi-gods are fucking with my existence because 🤧 the opposite sex lost one great man between their legs 🤧

**I decided to upgrade my rating to five stars. Because sometimes I just pick this one up and reread little parts and scenes. Also I have this almost Pavlovian response where I want to reread it whenever I see it mentioned.😂 I don’t most of the time. But I do read little bits frequently.**

**When in doubt, reread, reread, reread. Even if you just reread it last month. Don’t judge me! I’m low to medium obsessed with Eric and Nate. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🔥 August 2020 reread.

** Reread in July 2020. Loved it even more. Nate and Eric are the best.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥/5 Hot as hell fires.

I went into this thinking it would just be a hot, fun read. And it was. But it also made me catch feelings halfway through, which was unexpected. So it gets bumped from three to four stars for that.

If you like your couple chemistry and book sex hot like burning, then look no further.

This new adult, college-themed M/M romance was positively explosive, following housemates Nate and Eric as they embrace their bisexuality and engage in an exploratory, impassioned, and damn incendiary affair.

These two heated things up in every place imaginable – private and public, alike – so if you enjoy your exhibitionist kink, this story will have you salivating on the floor. There’s a lot of sex to be had here, and Eric and Nate make it their mission to have it all.

But the surprising news here is that as sex-heavy and steamy as this story is, it also delivers on an emotional level, making Nate and Eric memorable for more than just their scorching heat-level in the bedroom .

I enjoyed this immensely and I can’t wait to read more from this fairly new but talented author.

Sexual awakening stories are one of my favourite tropes and when that's combined with Neve Wilder's ability to fashion believable characters exploring sex in extraordinarily hot ways it can only be a winner.

As a newsletter subscriber, I'd received each part of this delicious college age new adult romance in serial format, but I'd been holding off reading them until all was done.

Well now not only is it done, it's got an extra chapter and a fabulous epilogue to round it out and it's glorious.

Nate and Eric are combustible, they're all blazing passions and conflicted - on Nate's part at first - emotions but their connection is clear to see.

I love this pair so hard, they're shameless in how they make the other one feel but it's not without complications.

I'm not going to spoil the whole plotline but the journey Nate goes through to realising he is in love with Eric is so well done.

Phew! I can stop fanning myself now as Eric and Nate together are seriously hot!!!! Nate is bi-curious and his room mate Eric, is just the man for some experimentation. Yes, there was a LOT of steam. I’m not usually a fan of insta-lust but the writing had me hooked from the start and I found this to be just so much more. Originally, this duo appeared as a short story but the author had such a positive response, it became serialised in her monthly newsletter. I can see why. Really loved these two 😍 and I’ll definitely be re-reading and checking out more of Neve Wilder’s books.

So. Much. Sex.

description

I’ve read books that are nothing but sex and somehow, this book with what seems to be mostly just really hot sex, wasn’t just anything at all. Somehow it was everything.

description

All the stars aligned for this one my friends. I am in love; totally, head over heels in love with this story.

Somehow this very erotic story about two guys getting it on all the time and everywhere ended up also being one of the best love stories I have read in a while.

This was hot as fuck. Seriously. These guys got down and dirty and they got down and dirty a lot and as I mentioned up there, they did it e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. Hot as fuck.

description

But it was also very romantic. It was two guys falling in love and it was beautiful. It was sweet and funny but had depth. There was such a great story being told here and I hope if you read this you see it too.

description

Truthfully though, there is some serious magic going on here. I have no idea how a book that was like 90% sex ended up being able to add every single thing a true romance book needs and make it work but this book did it and did it perfectly.

I really loved this!

Wow, what a great surprise. This caught my eye because so many readers were commenting on how hot it was. And okay, sure -- but the sex scenes became tedious because they were so damned long. I repeatedly found myself thinking, "Just hurry it up already, guys!" Eventually I started skimming over the details. But that didn't matter to me, because everything else about the writing was so damn good.

Neve Wilder is a trope-breaker. Here she's taken an utterly generic setup -- straight fratboy jock goes on a journey of bisexual self-discovery, and struggles to admit his truth to himself and others -- and made it her own. Every time a familiar beat came up, like "oh, here it's time for the gay panic," or "here it's time for the big misunderstanding," the story zigged when I thought it was going to zag. Nate, the narrator, wasn't a standard-issue cardboard MC being put through his predictable paces by the heavy hand of the author -- instead he came to life on the page like a real person, quirky and unpredictable and determined to do his own thing. He was capable of thinking his way through his situation rather than reacting in knee-jerk tropey ways, while being impulsive enough to surprise himself (and the reader). That made him interesting. And it made this old familiar story feel fresh and new.

His lust/love interest, Eric, I disliked from the start. What a self-satisfied SOB. I hoped there'd be more to him as the story went along... and there was. I'm never going to be his biggest fan, but I did believe in the ever-deepening connection between him and Nate.

Supporting characters with significant page time had real depth; they felt like people living their own lives who simply happened to intersect with Nate & Eric's story, not like props or filler. When I finished the book I was left hoping the author wasn't done with this world, but would come back and give some of these secondary characters books of their own.

So, this was a great find. I look forward to reading more by Neve Wilder.

This was piping hot! I was blushing like no tomorrow. Okay to be fair - someone could say hello to me and I’d turn red as a tomato but still!!!!! Damn! I knew there was going to be scorching hot sex but I wasn’t prepared to root for these two guys to be together as hard as I did. They had fantastic chemistry in and outside of the bedroom…the library...someone’s office. I loved Eric’s snark and quips combined with Nate’s need for reassurance. As a perpetual overthinker with an anxiety disorder, I think I need an Eric in my life! They just felt like the perfect match. I admired Nate’s bravery and I adored the gentle side Eric displayed whilst with Nate. This book was hot hot hot and sweet sweet sweet. I love romance books that make me fall in love with love. It felt like one of those there you are, I’ve been looking for you relationships.

This was some of the best erotica I've ever read, with some romance piled in there to make it all the better. It was mainly about sex, but these two do fall in love along the way.

I usually have an up and down relationship with erotica. Sometimes I'm totally in the mood for it, don't need any relationship build up, just want to read the sexy times. Most of the time though it's not done well or I'm just not in the mood for straight up sex.

But sometimes erotica can be written like this, where even when it's just sex at first, there is a connection between the two MC's, and the sex is written so incredibly well, that I love it and I'm invested and seriously getting hot and bothered ;)

But this story did one better in that in between all the great sex scenes, there was a development of their relationship from just sex to romance, to love.

Now romance wasn't the main thing in this, so it wasn't front and center and it doesn't spend a ton of time on it, but it is there throughout to where when they do say "I love you" I believed it.

This is all from Nate's POV, as he's convinced himself he's totes 100% straight (he's not) and that when Eric, one of his roommates, walks in on him jacking off (and also with fingers up his ass), it totally doesn't get him hot and bothered (it does).

Soon enough Nate gives into his desire for Eric, who is quiet but is out as bisexual and comfortable in his sexuality. And that first sex scene...WOW. I mean all the sex scenes in this were AH-MAZING, but I loved the first sex scene especially - not only because it was brand new between these two, so every feeling and emotion was new, but because it was Nate's first time with a guy going all the way and it just made him go out of his mind with pleasure and I loveddd it.

Nate kept telling himself that he didn't need Eric, didn't want him and he could go without him, he could resist, but then he ultimately ended up not resisting.

I would have gotten on how he came out a little if this wasn't erotica, first and foremost. He sort of just blurts it out before he's ready, but also I'm not too pressed because erotica - and also, if he had waited that would have eventually caused quite a bit of angst between these two and this book wasn't about angst, so there's that.

I just ultimately loved how while this was mainly about sex, it didn't short change its characters, it didn't sacrifice actual character development and such. I've read a lot of erotica where the characters are so one dimensional it's crazy. Like you can have a story be about sex and still have the characters be characters, be human, ya know? That's what I loved about this. And also, if you're all about sex in the story...make your sex good? So many don't do that as well, but this did that and more with it.

I was engaged with every sex scene and didn't feel like skimming any of it. That is very well written sex, my friends.

Two thumbs up from me for this, and I will want to try another Neve Wilder book in the future, for sure.

Wow. I mean... WOW.

5 stars.

Not a whole lot going on in terms of plot - coming of age, sexuality discovery of Nate with one of his hot roommates - Eric.

It's also college, so I was slightly worried it would be too YA.

BUT LORD! It was def NOT YA. It was very mature in terms of the intensity of emotions, the maturity of the two guys' personalities... Eric is SUCH a bad ass (no pun intended). Sexy, calm, collected, but deep-feeling, protective, loyal. Even tho the whole book was from Nate's POV, I could almost hear Eric's thoughts, feel his feelings. And they were STRONG. You knew just from the little bit he does show and say that he loves Nate. That he's patiently waiting for Nate to love him back. And I really fell in love with Eric for it.

Nate was engaging too. He's no wuss. He might not entirely know what he's getting into, but he doesn't run away from it. He confronts his sexuality, he blurts things out at inappropriate moments, but that's what I like about him - he's "pure." When he's in, he's all in. And he's comfortable enough in himself and who he is that he's not afraid to own it. He just needs someone special to give him time and patience and show him that he's worth waiting for. And that person is Eric.

What can I say? I gobbled up every single word!! I didn't sleep much last night even tho another book totally put me in a slumberous mood! This book woke up right back up and certainly worked me up too.

90% explicit sex, folks, so whoever is looking to try should be forewarned. But it's HOT explicit sex. Heavy with emotion and connection and intensity. And I might have overdosed on the eroticism but I LOVED IT!!

Not sure if I'll be coming back for more soon. It's exhausting to be turned on for hours and hours on end! :P

Highly recommend for readers who are fans or potential triers of M/M romance.

***3.75 rating***

“You were right. What you said in my room that night about whether I could get over you? I can’t. I’m fucking wrecked. I want to be with you, asshole, so name the terms, because I can’t do it for you. I can’t make any of these choices for you any more than I can stop wanting you. I thought I could and I can’t. It has to be you who makes the call.”

This was scorching hot!🔥😍

This was a fun, sexy read. I did not mind the endless sex scenes (even the public ones)😜. Some books are slow burn and take forever, while some like this one dive into action right away. If it works it works. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Eric was intense, hot and dominant 😌 while Nate was happy for the ride 😆. These two were really cute together. I enjoyed it.

The only thing we could have done without is Eric calling Nate "Frat boy", it was a bit cringe lol but other than that this book was a nice, fun read!.
