    Disaster and Humanitarian Relief

    I took my remaining leave from work and decided to join the efforts of assisting the refugees in the Greek island of Lesvos. I spent half of my days in creative play with children under the supervision of Praksis NGO and the rest of it in the beaches were the boats arrive as an independent volunteer. It has been a ground breaking experience that I will never forget.

    Social and Business Networks are the underlying structures that reflect and influence most of our activities, opinions and beliefs. For several decades, Sociologists have developed and refined techniques for observing and understanding such networks, at increasingly larger scales. One environment which stands out as a rich source of social information is the network of social media sites, in which individuals express and discuss opinions, facts, events, and ideas pertaining to their lives or society at large. As time goes by there is an ever greening tendency of people to participate in Social Networking Sites. We find it very interesting that this seems to affect all aspects of their daily life leading to change even basic characteristics of their social behavior. This thesis was performed in order to examine and compare various expressions of human behavior when offline and online.

  • Up Event

    Up event is an idea that was incubated within CareerBuilder. It's goal was simple; Do something to motivate young people to pursue their dreams and overcome all obstacles. Through a series of inspiring speeches from well known professionals in different industries content and storytelling was built along with a huge brand awareness campaign. As a result this year (2016) we were the first to livestream through Facebook the whole event and get more than 35k unique views in 24hours.

    A 3 year journey along with AUEB in order to map the Gen Y characteristics (labor wise) and understand how this generation is affecting the working status quo of the future. It got 160k of Media awareness and reproduced in all media across the country. It got to become one of the biggest surveys ever for Gen Y in Europe.
