I am an ESHRE-certified Senior Clinical Embryologist with 25 years of experience. Founding member and Director of Embryology Laboratory at Hygeia IVF Embryogenesis Athens (member of HHG), the largest private IVF clinic in Greece. During the term 2019-2022 I served as Coordinator of the Special Interest Group Embryology of ESHRE, and during 2022-2024 I served on the SIG board as Immediate Past Coordinator.

My research focuses on the optimisation of embryo culture systems, non-invasive embryo quality assessment, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and aspects of reproductive endocrinology. I am regularly Invited Lecturer in several other ART Masters Courses in the UK and Greece.

I am Associate Editor of the journals Human Reproduction and Frontiers in Reproductive Health.
Member of the Scientific Committee of the Association of Reproductive Clinical Scientists (ARCS) UK.
Member of the EDQM, Council of Europe, Working Group of the 6th edition of the Guide for Tissues and Cells.
