Introduction

This guide is intended as an introduction to researching the federal law of Mexico and highlights materials available in the Georgetown Law Library’s physical and electronic collections. If you are researching state law in Mexico (including decisions by state courts), see the State Governments section of GlobaLex’ guide to Researching Mexican Law and Mexican Legal System for guidance.

To find materials on Mexican law in the Georgetown Law Library collection, you can search the library catalog using keywords to narrow your search results (e.g. Mexico criminal law or Mexico torts). Some materials in our collection focus specifically on Mexico; others offer multijurisdictional coverage that may have one or two Mexico–specific chapters.
