Balenciaga is continually researching solutions in support of diminishing its environmental footprint, as well as contributing to innovations that may shift the ways in which fashion production may become more sustainable. The floor-length robe in Look 41 of the Summer 24 Collection is made from Lunaform™️, a new kind of biomaterial designed with Balenciaga by Gozen. Derived from nanocellulose, it is produced by microorganisms during fermentation. This process involves natural ingredients only and no synthetic chemicals. It is animal-free and plastic-free.
