【𝐇𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒】𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 The results of the HKIS Awards 2024 were announced and presented at the HKIS Awards Presentation Ceremony on 12 July 2024 at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel. Under the inspiring theme of "𝙎𝒖𝙧𝒗𝙚𝒚𝙞𝒏𝙜 𝙛𝒐𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝒖𝙨𝒕𝙖𝒊𝙣𝒂𝙗𝒍𝙚 𝙁𝒖𝙩𝒖𝙧𝒆", the event brought together over 350 distinguished guests, government officials, and project teams. We were honoured to have The Honourable CHEUK Wing Hing, GBS, JP, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR, as the Guest of Honour. His statement that “The surveying profession is the backbone of the development sector in Hong Kong” underscores the invaluable contributions of surveyors. HKIS President Sr LAM Ka Fai, Francis, emphasized the theme ‘Surveying for a Sustainable Future,’ recognising the invaluable contributions of surveyors in creating resilient and sustainable environments, shaping our communities, and ensuring a better tomorrow. We extend our gratitude to Sr Prof Winnie SHIU, Chairlady of the HKIS Awards 2024 Organising Committee, whose unwavering commitment and passionate involvement were instrumental in ensuring the resounding success of the HKIS Awards. 【#SurveyorWorld 測量術語／工具你要知】 測量師的日常工作中，都會用到很多不同的術語和工具。以下會列出各種常見的術語和工具，唔知大家又聽過，見過幾多種呢？ 1. 飛標：該投標文件的回標價不合理地超出估算價及市場水平，旨在「回應」是次投標，並非有意承投該項目。 2. OZP：分區計劃大綱圖，香港其中一系列法定圖則，顯示區內的土地用途和主要道路系統。 3. 埋 final (Final account settlement)： 竣工結算；完工後，檢核賬項並計算工程合約最終總價。 4. 開鏡：並非開鏡拜神，此「鏡」指全站儀(Total Station)，能精準量度距離和角度的測量儀器，「開鏡」即是使用全站儀進行測量。 5. 士波令（Concrete Spalling）： 混凝土內藏鋼筋生鏽迫爆面層混凝土的常見建築缺陷。 6.
