By harnessing waste heat and implementing a cross-boundary system, we have created an eco-friendly and energy-efficient solution for Hong Kong.   We extend our deepest gratitude to the sustainability and engineering teams, as well as IMechE, for this incredible recognition.     Towngas & Maxim’s Collaborate on "WeGen x Local Ginger" Low-Carbon Seasonal Menu 煤氣公司與美心集團炮製「WeGen x 本地薑」低碳時令餐單 The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) and Hong Kong Maxim's Group have teamed up to launch the "WeGen x Local Ginger" initiative, building on their previous award-winning innovative project. This new initiative combines regenerative farming and locally sourced produce to offer healthy, low-carbon dining options by using flame cooking techniques at selected Maxim's outlets across Hong Kong. By incorporating regenerative farming and local ingredients, the initiative significantly reduces carbon emissions generated during food production and transportation. The "WeGen x Local Ginger" initiative further intensifies efforts by sourcing more high-quality local vegetables from regenerative farms and the Vegetable Marketing Organization to provide customers with more low-carbon meal options. This collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies to promote sustainable practices and environmental responsibility, while delivering high-quality, healthy food to customers. Towngas and Maxim's are committed to supporting local ingredients and telling the story of Hong Kong's sustainable food ecosystem.     Reducing plastic usage is not just a market trend; it's a critical challenge that businesses across various industries must address. As a leader in the #foodandbeverage sector in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Maxim's Group has been passionately committed to fostering sustainability since 2007. We’ve implemented several initiatives to decrease our plastic footprint, including replacing single-use plastic items with paper alternatives crafted from Forest Stewardship Council-certified materials. Additionally, our green programs such as "Straw-Free Every Day" and "Borrow a Cup" encourage consumers to adopt more sustainable practices and contribute to a healthier planet.   To deepen our impact and involve more sectors in the movement, we launched the BEST with LESS Hong Kong Tertiary Sustainable Packaging (F&B Industry) Design Competition. Supported by distinguished experts in the design and F&B industry, this initiative has gained momentum with contributions from Stanley Wong, aka anothermountainman, an award-winning artist; Henry Ho, an internationally acclaimed designer recognized by the D&AD International Design Award; and Dr. Royce Yuen, a veteran in brand-building and marketing. Supported by 15 higher educational institutions and nearly 30 university student teams in Hong Kong, we are leveraging the power of collaborative innovation.   By engaging university students from a variety of disciplines and 18 volunteer professional designers, we are transforming creative ideas into practical, sustainable solutions. At Maxim’s, we value the collaborative process and our shared journey towards the common goal of reducing plastic use.   #BESTwithLESS #SustainablePackagingDesign #PlasticReductionCampaign #CreativeCompetition #YouthCreativity #LetsReducePlastic #SavouringOurFuture

    1st Starbucks Community Store in Hong Kong🏬🤝   Our city’s first Community Store finally opens, which starts its journey through a sand ceremony which symbolizes unity and connections with different partners and community. 🎊 Nestled at the East Asia Mansion, Wan Chai, the store aims to empower the personal growth of our youths through experiential career mentorship.   We are partnering with Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JA HK) to develop career and future readiness training programs for local youth and Hospitality Discipline of Vocational Training Council (VTC) students.     Every Har Gow and Siu Mai is a meticulously crafted piece of art. This delicate craftsmanship encapsulates both human warmth and cherished memories within each dim sum piece. Maxim's Palace has collaborated with the Joyful Miniature Association and artist Vivian Lee to present traditional Hong Kong Dim Sum scenes through miniature models, bringing them to life before your eyes. The artist's painstaking efforts have resulted in over 100 pieces, including more than 30 types of Dim Sum such as Har Gow, Siu Mai, Char Siu Bao, and Rice Noodle Roll.
