His latest venture – Rocky’s Matcha – is ushering in a new wave of health and awareness of the age-old Japanese tea leaf powder. His brand of matcha and matcha drink has been hitting the streets of major cities since 2022, working with boutiques and cafes across the United States and even in the U.K.⁠ ⁠ To foster your pleasant mornings, Rocky has shared with us his favorite locations across Los Angeles for breakfast and coffee/tea/matcha, with some staple spots highly familiar and a few under-the-radar joints as well.     For our Hypemaps' latest contributor guide, we’re ecstatic to feature one of our favorite world-class restauranteurs: Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.⁠ ⁠ Chef Nobu’s brand has grown tremendously since the opening of his first restaurant in 1987 – attracting celebrities and food fanatics alike, some of which have been recurring customers for decades. Chef Nobu has become an undeniable sushi and hospitality master, ultimately crafting a well-trusted brand due to its signature food and uncompromising service. ⁠ ⁠ Because of this, it can be said that many would trust Chef Nobu with culinary recommendations across the world. But given his split time between Tokyo and Los Angeles, these are special places he knows like the back of his hand.     Stéphane Ashpool has been around the block a few times: he founded Pigalle in 2008 and has also worked with Nike, Missoni, VanMoof and more in cultivating the label’s sports-leaning persona. But even with the extent of his layered experience, Ashpool received his biggest task yet - to design the French national team’s uniforms for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Even though maneuvering into uniform design was uncharted territory for the designer, the process was not as drastically different from Ashpool’s design day job as you might imagine.     On July 6, we held our first-ever Hypedrive car event with local premium car culture brand Brekkie Car Club and Stanton food market-turned-venue Rodeo 39 for CARS & COFFEE+, a play off of automotive enthusiasts’ OEM+ styling. The turnout for CARS & COFFEE+ spoke for itself – with limited parking of 300 spots, the venue quickly filled over capacity. ⁠In total, an estimated 500+ cars made their way to the event, with over 1,000 spectators and guests walking the grounds.⁠ ⁠ Check out a selection of our event photos below and find out more at https://lnkd.in/gnwyahx6

    During Paris Fashion Week, Hyperoom returned for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Together with Summer Games, Hyperoom debuted its showroom in Paris at the Helinox headquarters, bringing together Thug Club, Remagine and WHO DECIDES WAR. Hosted between June 22 to 25, the appointment-only showroom showcased each brand’s most recent collection.
