We are pleased to share our feature interview in the World Climate Foundation bulletin, where our Corporate Development Director Ross Chiu explains how we are navigating long-term transition trends at Kerogen Capital. Our CEO Jason Cheng recently shared his insights on the landscape for sustainable aviation fuels (‘SAF’) with Infrastructure Investor. As Jason explains, SAF represents the critical lever to decarbonise the aviation sector in time to reach decarbonisation targets, and so scaling up the industry is paramount: “SAF is the only viable near-term solution to reducing aviation emissions rapidly enough. To scale the SAF industry and ensure that supply is able to keep pace with growing demand, it is critical to have supportive infrastructure. “When people talk about the energy transition they always talk about renewables – more solar, more wind. And those are totally necessary, but they’re only a small part of global emissions – around 25 per cent. There’s another 75 per cent to decarbonise, and it has a lot less people and a lot less capital chasing it.
