Penny Chow

Penny Chow's career spanning two decades has been defined by the guiding principle, "Be a dreamer, and be a doer." Operating under a strict 'no-nonsense' policy, Penny not only sets ambitious goals but also propels her team towards achieving greatness.

In her tenure with the renowned 4As, Penny achieved remarkable milestones - earning global and local trophies for Coca-Cola at McCann, including Cannes award; As the Business Partner at Ogilvy, she played a pivotal role in driving substantial revenue growth. However Penny always aimed to revolutionize the industry by establishing an agency free from legacy issues such as talent mismatches and costly redundant procedures.

In 2017, Penny took on the challenge of launching a new agency, MBCS (also known as SOCIETY), under Mediabrands HK. Within the first year, she built a team from scratch and secured major accounts, including Nike, Coca-Cola, and BMW. The company swiftly dominated local award shows, earning titles such as "The Best Newcomer" and "Integrated Agency of the Year" in HK. Penny's visionary leadership garnered industry recognition, with her winning the "Business Leader of the Year" at the Women Leading Change APAC Award 2019.

In 2021, Penny expanded MBCS's reach to Taiwan, forming a cross-border hub with the HK office. This strategic move enabled the agency to provide services to clients like Coca-Cola, LEGO, and Nike, emphasizing the value of an agency partner that transcends geographical boundaries to optimize creativity and productivity. Penny's outstanding performance in her inaugural year in Taiwan led to her promotion as Managing Director of IPG Mediabrands Taiwan in 2022. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the entire Taiwan office, including creative, strategy, media, and digital services.

The successful synergy between HK & TW resulted in achievements greater than the sum of their individual successes. In 2021, her HK team secured "The Agency of the Year" at the Kam Fan Award, while the TW team was proudly shortlisted as TW Creative Agency of the Year in Campaign AOY 2023. Penny herself was named "Women to Watch" by Campaign Greater China in 2024, and was crowded "Game Changer of the Year" at Women Leading Change APAC award in 2024. These accolades serve as a testament to Penny's leadership and the unwavering dedication of the entire team.
