About
Vivek Deshpande is Executive Vice President and Client Partner at Intellect Design Arena Ltd· Prior to this he was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Finsight Global Consulting and Managing Partner, Hong Kong for Payments Consulting Network.
Previously, Vivek was Managing Director and the Asia Pacific Head of Sales, at HSBC for its Payments and Cash Management business where he was responsible for establishment of the strategic direction and delivery of its Sales proposition to their Commercial banking clients in Asia and globally. He was also the Asia Pacific lead for their ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ agenda.
Vivek has proven experience of leading large teams and business functions across domains on a large canvass, handling business of USD3B+ with a team size of more than 400.
He has overall 25 years of leadership experience in diverse industries including Banking, Consumer Products, IT and Engineering across functional areas ranging from Sales, Supply Chain, Strategic Planning and Customer Service. He possesses extensive international experience having been based in Hong Kong, India, and Thailand in leading regional roles with significant exposure to, and expertise in, Asia Pacific markets. Prior to joining HSBC, Vivek was the Regional Head of Customer Service and Supply Chain for Whirlpool Southeast Asia, based in Bangkok.
Vivek is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University.

- Strong Change Management skills. Successful track record of turning around business units and being involved in start-up situations during his stints with HSBC, Whirlpool and ITW
- Proven ability to build, lead and drive large and diverse teams in a multicultural environment across multiple functions viz. Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and Strategy
- Significant experience in managing relationships at a C-suite level with large Corporates - globally and regionally
