Our client is a leading developer with a portfolio of high-end hospitality and hotel developments.
They are looking to hire and experienced leader to help them deliver some new build and renovation projects.
Preferred candidates will have previous client-side experience delivering new build and renovation projects, working on luxury hospitality, hotel or integrated resorts.
This role will be leading a team of 7, therefore background in management is essential.
Open to applicants from other regions such as PRC or Singapore, as long as they meet the language requirements.
Responsibilities
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company procedures and policies
Advising the design team on the co-ordination of services within the overall building design, such as, advice on how much space is needed above the ceilings to accommodate ventilation systems and other services
Review installation plans and specification to ensure that they deliver what the building and stakeholders need
Manage daily operational aspects of a project and scope, including reviewing deliverables prepared by team before passing to Operations stakeholder
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
Make sure jobs meet building regulations and health and safety requirements
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, hold regular status meetings with project team
Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers
Attend meetings and present ideas and progress reports to different stakeholders including local government departments
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Services or Engineering.
Preferred candidates will be fluent in English & Cantonese, Mandarin would be a bonus, but not essential.
Thorough knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment associated with general carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
Advanced knowledge of construction, construction management, project management
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies
Interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
Advanced knowledge of design build construction obtained through a combination of experience and education
Specialized courses in construction management and managerial concepts
