NEW VIDEO: Build and Deploy an Uber Clone with React Native! 🚕 No, this isn’t your average app showing a ‘map on a screen’. ❌ In this course, you’ll build a 15-screen, state-of-the-art mobile application! I didn’t cut any corners when making it. You’ll learn to make splash screens and onboarding flows, bottom sheets & success screens… I decided to include screens that appear on all the most popular apps in the world! Afterwards, you can build any mobile app you can imagine 😱 These are some of the Uber-specific features: → Live user location with Google Maps showing nearby rides → Search real locations using Google Places → Choose a destination, driver & book a ride → Get directions and estimated time → See all booked rides and your profile details During the course, I’ll be teaching you: → #ReactNative fundamentals → Expo Router for file-based Navigation → Zustand for Global State Management → #Nativewind for Styling → Expo API Routes → Stripe Payments → Data Fetching with Custom Hooks → Reusable advanced components with best practices → #TypeScript for writing type-safe code → Eslint & Prettier for organizing the code → Authentication with verification using Clerk (Clerk.com) → PostgreSQL using Neon, a serverless, fully-managed Postgres database service that automatically scales resources and lets you write native SQL queries. Even Vercel uses it behind the scenes for their Vercel Postgres service. A basic to medium understanding of React Native is needed, so I’ve also prepared the Ultimate React Native guide for you! I’ll even teach you how to set up an IDE you didn’t know you needed! WebStorm is a professional #JavaScript & TypeScript IDE by JetBrains that will make you so efficient you’ll wonder what you were doing all this time ;) Are you excited to get started? 🔥 Dive in here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/g49AtkxC PS Grab your FREE 90-day WebStorm license in the description of the video! 🚀 Leveling Up My React Skills with a YouTube Clone Project! 🚀 I just completed an in-depth tutorial on building a full-fledged React application from scratch, and I couldn’t be more excited about the skills I've gained! 🎉 📚 Key Takeaways: Mastered the creation of both functional and class-based components in React. Got hands-on experience with state management, including using this.state and this.setState for dynamic data handling. Explored the power of React lifecycle methods, particularly componentDidMount for triggering actions post-render. Learned to fetch and display live data using Axios and the YouTube API. 🛠️ Applied Material-UI for sleek, responsive design and layout, making the UI not only functional but also visually appealing. Debugged common issues, enhancing my problem-solving skills along the way. 🔍 A huge shoutout and thank you to JavaScript Mastery for creating such comprehensive and engaging content! Your tutorials continue to be a game-changer in my learning journey. I’m excited to apply these new skills in upcoming projects and continue growing as a developer. 💻💡 🔗➡️ https://lnkd.in/eWMQD-5d #ReactJS #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #Learning #Coding #MaterialUI #YouTubeClone

Here to share my latest #nextjs project! I've built a fully responsive Healthcare patient management application that allows patients to easily register, book, and manage their appointments with doctors, featuring administrative tools for scheduling, confirming, and cancelling appointments, along with SMS notifications. Used #nextjs and #typescript, with #appwrite for storage and #twilio for messaging and #shadcn and #tailwindcss for interactive design Check out the Live project here: https://lnkd.in/gYAn-Sme Key Learnings: - Learned advanced nextjs concepts. - Introduced with appwrite, twilio. Appwrite is open-source platform, we can add Authentication, Databases, Functions, Storage, and Messaging functionalities. - Also used #sentry which provides end-to-end distributed tracing, enabling developers to identify and debug performance issues and errors across their systems and services. I'm thrilled with how this project turned out and look forward to applying these skills in future projects. And a big shoutout to JavaScript Mastery for his amazing guidance. Soul of a designer doing development

Built a real-time collaborative document editor similar to Google Docs using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Clerk. We learned how to implement real-time features using Liveblocks, manage user permissions and roles, and create a seamless user experience with a clean and responsive UI. Key Learnings: - Real-time collaboration: We explored how to build real-time features using Liveblocks, enabling multiple users to edit a document simultaneously and see changes instantly. -User authentication and permissions: We implemented user authentication and role-based access control using Clerk, ensuring secure document sharing and collaboration. - UI development: We crafted a user-friendly interface using Tailwind CSS and Shadcn, focusing on responsiveness and accessibility. - TypeScript: We wrote type-safe code using TypeScript, improving code reliability and maintainability. Next.js: We leveraged Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation, enhancing performance and SEO. Stack Used: - Next.js - TypeScript - Tailwind CSS - Shadcn - Liveblocks - Clerk - Sentry All thanks to JavaScript Mastery, for the tutorial online.
