Incompetence, greed, and dishonesty caused the Grenfell tragedy, an inquiry has found. A new public inquiry into the causes of the 2017 fire has reported that systematic failures, ignored safety concerns and corporate greed all contributed to the disaster which killed 72 people. A 1700-page report released today argues that governmental failures dating back to the early 90s created the conditions for the fire. “The simple truth is the deaths that occurred were all avoidable,” said chair of the Grenfell Inquiry, Sir Martin Moore-Bick, as he presented the report.

Willow Smith is the star of Acne Studios’ Fall/Winter campaign. In the intimate campaign, the American musician, actor, and director is adorned in Acne’s sleek new futuristic collection. There’s denim. There’s leather. There’s even a multi-pocket tool bag, for all of your Fall and Winter DIY needs – I guess. “As a cultural icon, especially among younger audiences, Willow embodies the authenticity that we celebrate,” Acne said in a statement. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

Chappell Roan wants her concert tickets to go to “actual fans.” Can you blame her? In a recent video posted by the Chappell, the artist says that she cancelled all of the tickets bought by scalpers and bots for her upcoming show in Franklin, Tennessee. The move, she says, will allow “people who actually want to come and are fans” to get tickets to the show. Fair enough, tbh.

After Heartstopper, the 23-year-old actor Sebastian Croft is pivoting from teen-friendly TV into more grown-up roles. Read his new profile here.

To celebrate 25 years of American Football’s eponymous debut album, the Midwest emo band will be releasing a covers album next month. Ethel’s cover is the second one from the album to be released, and it’s just as beautifully haunting as we would have expected it to be.
