We are so proud to announce that Atika, our Investment Director, represented Indonesia Impact Alliance (IIA) at the annual GSG Global Impact Summit organised by GSG Impact. This year, the summit is held at Costa Rica! We want to express our gratitude to Nick, Krisztina, Fai and Santiago for organising the summit. This summit is one of the most influential impact investing events because it delivers impact solutions for people and the planet. It features engaging workshops and explores collaborative opportunities for leaders across 40 countries, drawing knowledge from their vast years of expertise in impact economies. Over the past few days, Atika embarked on a series of workshops delving into various themes such as impact investment implementation, public-private partnerships and social innovation. In one notable workshop, it delved into the reasons why mobilising capital is important in the impact economy and the barriers that can hinder the mobilisation of capital. Through taking a collaborative approach in the workshop, participants were invited to share their thoughts on overcoming challenges in mobilising capital, illuminating their same desire in driving the impact economy forward. Throughout the summit, participants drew closer to each other and forged friendships. We are so glad that Atika had the opportunity to interact with renowned leaders such as David Hetherington, Tuğçe, Royson and Xu Hu in the summit, sharing knowledge and valuable insights about the landscape of impact investing in their home countries. Even though the summit has come to an end, our journey in the impact economy has not ended. We believe that Atika has gleaned multiple insights during the summit and will share her knowledge with the rest of us, spearheading solutions that will purposefully drive the impact economy together. We are stoked to announce that David, our Managing Director, has been chosen to be a panellist responding to regulatory representatives in the Business Pitching Forum titled Green Transition Lab under the annual Green Economy Expo. This year, the Green Economy Expo is hosted by Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the UK International Development and PT Pertamina (Persero). The panellists will provide responses and solutions from the perspective of regulators, investors and associations, giving businesses and enterprises the opportunity to glean valuable insights. We are so excited to announce that our Advisory Associate, Priska, represented us at the annual Women Ecosystem Catalyst Award Night hosted by Women Ecosystem Catalyst Indonesia. In collaboration with various stakeholders such as Sampoerna Untuk Indonesia, Perkumpulan Imajinasi Penaja Mula and the Central Java SME Cooperative Office, this programme aimed to support and empower women entrepreneurs and organisations in various sectors such as agriculture and renewable energy. In one of the key components of this Award Night, there was a speed dating session, allowing startups and companies to be connected with each other. During the speed dating session, our representative, Priska, was matched with various startups that specialised in a wide variety of industries such as agriculture and fashion. She then articulated the key service offerings that ANGIN provided, detailing the ways that ANGIN could help these startups to succeed. We are sure that Priska had a whale of a time at this event. We would like to thank Women Ecosystem Catalyst for extending their invitation to ANGIN to participate in this event. We were so stoked to unveil French Alumni Day last Saturday, which was held in collaboration with the French Embassy, Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia and LA FRENCH TECH INDONESIA. This event served as a business clinic to budding and nascent startups that wish to achieve significant growth and make it big in the startup ecosystem. Through this business clinic session, our startup founders posed burning questions related to scaling a startup and navigating the startup ecosystem to our judges, David from ANGIN, Stéphane Becquart from Jagofon, Natalie Halim and Andi Wijaya from BNP Paribas. After a tough call from the judges, they were pleased to announce the 3 startups that emerged as the winners of this business clinic session. The startups were LingoTalk, Samplish and Mudita and they were given a priceless opportunity to pitch their product offerings in detail and convince the audience of the efficacy of their product offerings in the market. Once again, we want to thank our partners, the French Embassy, Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia and LA FRENCH TECH INDONESIA for collaborating with us for this business clinic session. We hope that through these events, it would catalyse greater enthusiasm in the startup ecosystem and encourage more individuals in Indonesia to take a leap of faith and become an entrepreneur!

Welcome to Indigo X ANGIN’s newly launched matchmaking session! After going through a highly selective process, 3 startups, Automa, Pajak.io and Zemangat, emerged as the chosen ones for this intimate matchmaking session, which seeks to bring startups and investors together. In the opening ceremony, we were graced by the presence of Fauzan, Deputy Executive Vice President of Telkom Indonesia and Donald, Chief Executive Officer of MDI Ventures. They stressed the importance of entrepreneurship and growth and dispensed great insights on the entrepreneurial landscape. Before dinner, the founders of these startups were invited to give a 5-minute pitch on their companies, allowing them to introduce their companies in great detail. They also highlighted their key service offerings and how they could immensely add value to the investors present during the session. We concluded the night by inviting all of the attendees to indulge in dinner, allowing investors and startups to continue networking with each other. We want to thank our startup founders, Alfons, Rayhan and Fielien for being bold to pitch to our investors during the matchmaking session and we wish you all the best in running your startups! To our investors, Erwin, Aranggi, Benny, Elsha, Amir and Mariko, we owe a massive thank you for taking time off for this intimate matchmaking session and we want to acknowledge your significant contributions through the feedback that you have given to the startups.
