Entering 2023, Kadin Indonesia is committed to synergy to achieve a resilient, prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable Indonesia Emas 2045. To embody this vision, we launched the Indonesia Emas 2045 Roadmap, presenting it to President Joko Widodo at Ibu Kota Nusantara. On the global stage, Kadin has forged collaborations with international stakeholders through business matches, meetings, and MoUs with partners from the Netherlands 🇳🇱, France 🇫🇷, South Korea 🇰🇷, China 🇨🇳, Germany 🇨🇳, Japan 🇯🇵, and Singapore 🇸🇬. Nationally, we also promote synergy between the private sector and government, fostering inclusive development and solid economic growth. Through the Kadin Impact Award, we also highlight 15 flagship programs aimed at promoting equitable prosperity. To position Indonesia as a leader in sustainable economics, we organized the International Sustainability Forum, introduced the Net Zero Hub, and established the Carbon Center of Excellence. As we entered 2022, Kadin Indonesia has strengthened its position as an inclusive and collaborative organization for all entrepreneurs across the nation. This strategic reinforcement is anchored by Presidential Decree No. 18/2022, as outlined in the Memorandum of Association/Articles of Association, which solidifies Kadin's status as the sole umbrella organization for businesses in Indonesia, officially endorsed by President Joko Widodo. Embracing the spirit of "Kadin Kuat, UMKM Kuat, Ekonomi Daerah dan Nasional Kuat, Indonesia Maju", Kadin Indonesia has committed to elevating local MSMEs to the global market. This commitment is exemplified by the inclusive partnership movement, MSMEs Upgrading, and the launch of WikiWirausaha in 2022. In 2022, Kadin Indonesia has also gained significant international recognition. This was first demonstrated through its leadership at the B20 event, which attracted delegations from 69 countries and over 3,000 business leaders. Additionally, Kadin actively participated in the World Economic Forum and conducted the B20 Indonesia Roadshow across various European countries, exploring potential collaborations in renewable energy, net zero initiatives, and economic cooperation. As we approach the third year of the Kadin Indonesia leadership term for 2021-2026, under the stewardship of Arsjad Rasjid, it is an opportune moment to reflect on the remarkable journey and achievements thus far. Since Arsjad Rasjid’s election as Chairman in 2021, Kadin Indonesia has embarked on an ambitious path, guided by a vision and mission dedicated to strengthening healthcare and driving economic recovery. This vision is embodied in the creation of a new Kadin, one that is inclusive and collaborative. Central to this effort are four foundational pillars and 17 priority work programs that have been diligently pursued. In the challenging year of 2021, Kadin Indonesia played a pivotal role in supporting the nation’s economic resilience amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This was achieved through significant initiatives such as the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program💉, the establishment of the Rumah Oksigen and the introduction of Indonesia’s first semi-permanent healthcare facility🏥 Moreover, Kadin Indonesia has not only influenced national policies but has also been a prominent advocate on the global stage. Notably, it has championed global climate policies at the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26 🌏🍃, in Glasgow.
