As part of our ongoing commitment to drive positive change, PT. Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) had the privilege of participating in the "Program Relawan Bakti BUMN Batch VI", organized by Kementrian BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara), in Desa Hilisimaetano, Southern Nias, North Sumatera. The program reflects the Ministry's dedication to develop and implement AKHLAK values. Alongside other leading State-Owned Enterprises such as i PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk., PT. BANK NEGARA INDONESIA (Persero) Tbk., PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk., BTN, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PLN (Persero), PGN, Jamkrindo, Askrindo, and Pengadaian, MCI was proud to support the efforts of 10 promising young leaders who spent a week contributing to the local community’s welfare. Our Director of Finance, HR & Risk Management, Wisnu Setiadi, was entrusted with leading a sharing session for BUMN volunteers stationed in Hilisimaetano. He shared valuable insights on leadership, and the importance of embracing AKHLAK values, which underpin the program's mission. In collaboration with Cakap, an indonesian edtech startup that provides online language learning and educational services, we provided 100 free vouchers for a three-month English language program to the people of Desa Hilisimaetano. This will help enhance their bilingual skills, positioning Desa Hilisimaetano as a future tourism hub and driving economic growth. We believe that initiatives like these inspire future leaders and startups to take part in building a better Indonesia.
