Since it was established in 2011, Praxis has been assisting clients in constructing and executing communication ideas to build, maintain, or improve mutually beneficial relationship with the general public. Praxis specializes in executing media engagement activities, but also provide other services such as strategic communication planning, brand positioning, media documents development, executive communication training, social media activation, communication research and media monitoring.     Celebrating 79th Indonesian Independence Day, the Praxisionaire way! 🇮🇩 On Thursday, Praxis' office was filled with joy, laughter, and pride, as well as shades of red and white, as we came together to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day. After a day of working, the whole office came together to embrace the spirit of the day with some games. Seeing everyone’s competitive side come out (with plenty of laughter and friendly banter) was surely the highlight of the day. But the fun didn’t stop there! We got to enjoy some local dishes such as bakwan malang, siomay, es cendol, es buah, and of course, tumpeng! We also took this opportunity to congratulate our beloved General Affairs, Habib, who will be getting married next week. This day reminded us all of the importance of community, collaboration, and taking pride in our roots. Here’s to continuing that spirit in everything we do.     Commemorating its 35th anniversary, Bank DBS Indonesia proudly launches the 'Trust Your Spark' campaign, designed to ignite and empower the 'spark' within every individual to pursue their dreams and aspirations without hesitation. This campaign extends the 'Live more, Bank less' spirit, demonstrating Bank DBS Indonesia's commitment to providing a seamless banking experience that allows customers to live more meaningful lives. To celebrate the launch of this campaign, Praxis had the opportunity to assist Bank DBS Indonesia in arranging a media visit to two social enterprises that won the DBS Foundation Business for Impact Grant Award Programme: Magalarva in Gunung Sindur, Tangerang and Du Anyam in Central Jakarta. With a mission to eliminate food waste, Magalarva focuses on collecting waste to be processed by black soldier fly (BSF) to become high-quality animal and pet feed. Meanwhile, Du Anyam presents a collection of woven products made by mothers in Eastern Indonesia. East. Du Anyam has a mission to empower women and improve the welfare of the community. During this visit, our journalist friends had the chance to see the end-to-end operations of each social enterprise and see what 'sparks' them to build their organizations. This visit also inspired us to believe in our own 'spark' and strive toward sustainability. We are honored to be part of this huge milestone! Well done, DBS team!     On June 25th, we had the opportunity to represent one of our clients, Invest SEA, at the Tuna Investment Forum 2024 in Surabaya. This event is designed to enhance the competitiveness of tuna commodities in both global and domestic markets while promoting sustainable tuna management. The forum brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability advocates to discuss the latest trends in the tuna industry, sustainable fishing practices, and market expansion opportunities Our participation underscored our commitment to supporting sustainable initiatives and helping our clients navigate the evolving landscape of the seafood industry.     Another year of DBS Asian Insights Conference 2024! On May 21st, Praxisionaire had the honor of assisting DBS Bank Indonesia with its annual conference. This year, the theme "Election to Action: Crafting A Sustainable Future Towards Golden Indonesia 2045 and ESG Excellence" provided strategic insights into Indonesia's post-election economic future, while highlighting steps towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. This event was also attended by speakers and experts in their respective fields: 1. Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Suahasil Nazara 2. Deputy Minister of SOEs, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo 3. Executive Director of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi 4. Executive Vice President Commercial Product Development PT PLN (Persero), Ririn Rachmawardini 5. Ketua Kadin Energy Transition Task Force, Anthony Utomo 6. Senior Advisor Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Raden Pardede President Director of PT Bank DBS Indonesia, Lim Chu Chong also gave a keynote speech at the start of the conference to emphasize Bank DBS Indonesia's role in the economy and sustainability, especially transition financing, in order to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045. In addition to inviting journalists to the main conference, we also held a media luncheon with Chief Economist and Managing Director DBS Group Research, Taimur Baig and Equities Specialist DBS Group Research, Maynard Arif to provide the journalists with in-depth insights into the macroeconomic situation in Indonesia.     Hello from Natuna! Our consultants recently assisted Invest SEA in organizing a development trip to Natuna, an island in the Riau Islands (Kepulauan Riau). This trip was attended by stakeholders from The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan/KKP), Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs (Kemenpora), Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Komite Pemantauan Pelaksanaan Otonomi Daerah (KPPOD), The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), as well as journalists from Liputan6, Republika, and Tempo. This trip was aimed at introducing ecotourism and fishery in Natuna while also fostering relationships for future collaborations.
