In my simple opinion, put away the "disruptor" nonsense! Don't overvalue easily startups anymore, personally I am sick of the overvalue assumption. Ditch the wishful thinking and show me the real numbers: market size, growth, competition, and how to make money. Show off your amazing technology, talk about your great team, and be HONEST about the risks. Key things are sensible growth plans and a clear value offering. Remember that investors want real money, not just talk... and action speaks louder!

In my opinion, leading a group of people requires a different mindset. It involves empowering others, delegating tasks, and taking a step back to view the bigger picture. While you are now responsible for the team's performance rather than just your own actions, building strong relationships with clients, investors, and your team is crucial during this transition. Ultimately, it's about transforming from an executor to a strategist—someone who effectively assigns tasks and motivates a group to work towards a common goal. Well, actions speak louder than words!

Trends from the beginning of the year show that only those who change with brutal honesty and unwavering speed will be able to stay surviving. From what I've seen, it's not about following steps; it's about being a leader with an unwavering determination to turn problems into opportunities...

In my opinion, as an investor, I must be brutally honest because the market is tough these days.  There are too many optimistic estimates in the market, and more startups fail than succeed. In my experience, sugarcoating the reality doesn't help. Only being honest, even when it hurts, will help you navigate this harsh profession and locate the rare gems worth investing in!

It takes more than knowing your worth to negotiate a leadership job. You need to know what you can do to help, what the market wants from you, and how to put together a comprehensive plan that fits your needs. Don't be afraid to think outside the box! It's important to be flexible, and a well-timed follow-up ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. Remember, you're an asset, and your compensation should reflect that. After all, leadership isn't just a theoretical concept that can be easily written about—it's an experiential journey.

In my simple opinion, put away strict calculations. Disturbance is what the VC world lives for; checklists are not necessary. What connect is passion and practical experience.
