As the Head of Maritime and Offshore Construction Division - Young Engineers Forum PII, I initiated the Webinar Blue Economy Series as part of the Road to the 41st Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (CAFEO 41 Indonesia), focusing on the theme 'Igniting ASEAN's Blue Economy and Green Energy’.
This webinar series, a collaboration between the Maritime and Offshore Construction Division of The Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII), the Professional Board of Marine Engineering (PII), and the Professional Board of Ship Technology (PII), showcases five episodes corresponding to the five pillars of the Blue Economy proposed by Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono (Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries).
The insightful and comprehensive content of these webinars shed light on Indonesia's vast maritime potential that needs exploration, development, and optimization. This requires a multi-stakeholder approach following the Penta-Helix concept, where the Government, Practitioners, Academia, Business Entities, Communities, and Media work in coordination and commitment to transform Indonesia's maritime potential. This aligns with Indonesia's journey towards becoming the Global Maritime Fulcrum by 2045.
I express my deep gratitude to those who supported this initiative,
