This year we are supporting the wonderful SeriousFun Children's Network globally across our business. Series Fun is a global charity supporting children, with serious illnesses, help discover confidence and a world of possibilities. Uniphar is proudly partnering with Serious Fun to spread their story even further and to fundraise and support as many children as possible across the globe. We are delighted to announce the launch of our fifth Unity for Hope fundraiser and this year we are supporting two wonderful charities - Barretstown, proud member of the SeriousFun Children's Network, and Pieta The fundraising campaign will run from Saturday 7 September to Sunday 15 September. Unity for Hope was set up in 2019 by Uniphar to raise vital funds for our charity partners and over the last four years, 17 charities around the world have benefitted from our fundraisers with over €800,000 raised to date. This year we are aiming to break €1m. Our fundraising target for the Group worldwide is €100,000 with Uniphar pledging to match funds raised up to a further €100,000. Barretstown is celebrating 30 years of joy, resilience and hope this year. They offer free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with cancer and other serious illnesses, supported behind the scenes by 24-hour on-site medical and nursing care. Pieta provides a range of services nationally to people who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. They are driven in their mission to provide free, accessible and quality services. Pieta believes that hope can take the place of despair and hold that responsibility at the heart of everything they do.
