Beaumont Hospital (incorporating St. Joseph's Hospital, Raheny) is the principal teaching hospital for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Beaumont is the Lead Hospital of the RCSI Hospital Group, which includes; Connolly Hospital, Rotunda Hospital, Monaghan Hospital, Louth County Hospital Dundalk and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. In addition, we are a Designated Cancer Centre and the Regional Treatment Centre for Ear, Nose and Throat, and Gastroenterology. We are also the National Referral Centre for Neurosurgery and Neurology, Renal Transplantation, and Cochlear Implantation. We employ over 3,500 staff and have 820 beds. Beaumont Hospital also enjoys close links with Dublin City University, especially in the area of nurse training, and with other academic institutions in respect of training and research. We are always interested to hear from high calibre, positive and motivated professionals for the organisation, who will support the continued delivery and improvement of patient care within the hospital.

We had our first Staff Santa Dash today in Beaumont Hospital to encourage some festive fun. So many staff turn up in Santa hats, Elf ears and Christmas jumpers to walk, jog and run our festive route. Thank you to all the staff who helped out and made today possible. The mince pies and mulled wine (non alcoholic) went down a treat afterwards, thanks to all the catering team.
