Huge congratulations to Imokilly GAA, who have successfully retained their title as Co-Op Superstores Cork Premier SHC Divisions/Colleges champions following a 6-31 victory over Muskerry at Páirc Uí Rinn on September 1st. Sport, and GAA in particular, is central to our communities and provides a real sense of belonging for so many. That’s why DP Energy are very, very proud to sponsor both Imokilly’s hurling and football teams. We know how hard these teams work and we’re really delighted to celebrate this success with them, especially during their milestone Centenary year!

The CEC Clean Energy Summit took place in Sydney and DP Energy Group’s Hugh Cantwell, Head of Development for Australia, Lachlan Giles, Environment and Development Manager, and Gabrielle P., Development Manager for the Callide Wind Farm in Queensland, all attended. As an industry, we have made world-leading progress in the energy transition in Australia, but there is still a long journey ahead. We need to maintain our momentum, and there is a growing acknowledgment of the need for long-term policy consistency across government cycles. It is encouraging to see the current Australian government seeking to support and accelerate this energy transition through suitable policy settings like the Capital Investment Scheme. Mitigation of environmental impact is improving, with useful examples of progress in biodiversity impact management and even projects achieving a net biodiversity benefit. These are principles we are applying to our own projects at DP Energy Group. #CleanEnergySummit #Australia #DPEnergyGroup #RenewableEnergy
