Coming up for air after a wild start to the year! 😝 Taking a moment to be grateful to all of the amazing people who have helped to bring together the incredible events and workshops I've gotten the opportunity to work on already in 2024 (how is it only February!?) 🙃 If you're looking to set up a problem solving event for a group, students, business, or anyone looking to crowd source solutions get in touch! ☎️ Hit the ground running in January with the Radical Creativity workshops with David Keating and the team at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology where we got to apply basic tips and tricks to the often icky feeling task of networking. 🤝 Then it was onto a quick starter workshop with TU Dublin GROWTHhub and NEIC Dublin. In a short two hours we got to learn about great businesses some inspired individuals are growing in the city. 🥊 No rest for the wicked, and it was on to Munster Technological University and Rubicon Centre for #CyberSecurity and #Sustainability hackathon for the 50 students in the INGENIUM University program. 🔐 🌳 Took a brief stop to get inspired by the student teams in the Hult Prize Foundation competition at University College Dublin 🤩 And just this Friday the MERITS #hacktheclimate event proved that the energy and ideas are there to find creative ways to use data for saving the planet. 🤓 Huge thank yous to everyone involved in everything so far this year. I always said that I wasn’t going to grow up to be a teacher. Fast forward 20 years and here I am bopping around between different teaching, training, and workshop days. 👩🏫 Whether it’s working with the New Frontiers Programme (Enterprise Ireland) paticipants, students from University College Dublin or TY students today at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology it’s been a lovely whirlwind of guiding problem research, ideation, and business planning. 🤓 Big thank you to Peter Weadack and Dr Therese Moylan for having me to work with the brilliant TY students today!
