🎯 A central aspect of the mission of the ISESA is the development of accreditation pathways for Sport and Exercise Scientists in Ireland. 🎯 We are currently working to develop pathways and various forms of accreditation for those working in Exercise Science and in Sport Science and more will be shared as we progress with this work throughout 2024 and 2025.

The ISESA is the representative association for Sport and Exercise Sciences (SES) in Ireland. We are a non-profit association for the SES community. Our vision is to enhance the health, well-being and performance of individuals through sport and exercise sciences. The mission of ISESA is to lead, represent, and advance the sport and exercise sciences community through advocacy, knowledge exchange, collaboration and accreditation. The association launched on November 8th 2023 after development from a working group made up of representatives from Higher Education Institutions, National Governing Bodies of Sport and sporting organisations in Ireland. The association currently runs the ISESA Podcast Series and the ISESA Webinar Series and is in the process of developing an accreditation pathway for the SES community in Ireland. Dr. Claire Brady works as a Strength and Conditioning Consultant at the Sport Ireland Institute, where she works with Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
