In the 1950s, we created the first programmable recording studio. 🎙️ Today, nearly every piece of music is digitally produced and fine-tuned - but what if we could scientifically predict how these pieces sound in any location? That's exactly what our #XR application, Sound of Science, is all about. 🎼 In collaboration with Salzburger Festspiele, we created a #DigitalTwin of the iconic Grosses Festspielhaus to predict its unique acoustics in a virtual environment. Our immersive XR lets users experience how acoustics change by moving around the hall, altering the orchestra layout, or adding hypothetical acoustic panels. 🎻 This model not only enables precise acoustic simulations but also revolutionizes virtual testing setups, optimizing public utilization while preserving the unique sound of historical venues. Digital twins in acoustics open endless possibilities — for the cultural scene and any industry where sound is key! 🔑🔒

NAMTECH recently signed an MoU with Siemens We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Suprakash Chaudhuri- Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Industries at Siemens Ltd, Mr. Sameer Prakash - Head of Digital Enterprise, Digital Industries , Siemens Limited, and Mr. Sukrut Gadgil, Product Manager for SCE and IPC at Siemens Limited during the signing. This MoU aims to enhance educational opportunities in smart manufacturing, automation, and advanced technical development at NAMTECH, with a focus on introducing new electives and dedicated courses in manufacturing within our iPMP and iPTP programmes. The partnership prioritizes experiential learning, industry-relevant training, and the development of course curriculum. It also encompasses the establishment of a robust industry programs for both faculty and learners focusing on the joint development of infrastructure, and the creation of platforms for continuous knowledge enhancement and the development of learning modules. We look forward to collaborative experiences that will advance progress for our learners.
