All of the fresh beef, pork, lamb and eggs that Tesco Ireland sells are 100% Irish. In Ireland and internationally, we provide opportunities to get on, with diverse careers spanning retail stores, head office and our distribution centres. Everyone is welcome at Tesco - whoever you are, wherever you work, and whatever you do.

We've done it again! For an eighth consecutive year Irish suppliers have scored Tesco Ireland as their retailer of choice for engagement and collaboration, according to a new ‘Voice of the Supplier Report’ Advantage Group International UK and Ireland. Tesco Ireland Commercial Director, Joe Manning said: “We are delighted to receive this vote of confidence from suppliers across Ireland, through the independent survey from Advantage. Once again, we’ve been recognised by our supplier partners as the number one retailer to do business with. We take great care in the ways in which we collaborate and engage with our supplier partners and are always seeking new ways to improve that relationship. Our 1,000 plus network of suppliers are hugely important to our business, and it is heartening to know that they rate us so highly under these key competencies.” #supportingirishsuppliers

We’ve been on the road again, this time visiting our Portlaoise store at Gandon Court. Our Commercial Director, Joe Manning and Store manager Denise Barry met with local good causes benefitting from the Tesco Community Fund. AnnMarie Monnelly from The Heath NS, Orlagh Mahon from Kolbe Special School, and Muriel Wall from Scoil Bhríde visited the store to meet with the team and collect their cheques. Now in its 10th year, the Community Fund continues to provide vital support to community groups across Ireland. To nominate a community group or good cause focused on supporting health or children, applications can be submitted via the Tesco online application form online. https://lnkd.in/guMBbvhs #TescoCommunityFund

It was a busy afternoon at our Kileely Road store! Members of our leadership team Paul Healy and Rosemary Garth, alongside store manager Mike Fitzgerald had their hands full presenting double donation Community Fund cheques to local good causes.   The donations were made possible thanks to the Tesco Community Fund, which doubled the first donations to celebrate the recent opening of this new store at Kileely Road, Moyross.   We're looking forward to seeing what Corpus Christi (€2,000), Moyross Football Club (€1,000) and St Mary's National School (€1,000) do with their funding. Our thanks to Willie O'Dea and Cllr Dan McSweeney for joining us on the day.   To nominate a community group or good cause focused on supporting health or children, applications can be submitted via the Tesco online application form online.   #TescoCommunityFund

In a recent survey amongst Family Resource Centres around the country, all (100%) respondents said they see an increased need for food supports during the summer months and the majority (77%) said there are children within their communities who do not have access to three meals a day. To give a helping hand to children and families outside of the school term, Tesco has created the Stronger Starts Summer Food Collection in partnership with a network of Family Resource Centre National Forum groups to ensure local communities are supported. Customers can donate a non-perishable food item to the Food Collection trolleys in Tesco stores until 8th September. Read more here https://lnkd.in/eZqtqVzP #StrongerStarts

With school holidays in full swing, and school holiday hunger a worrying factor for many Irish families, we're turning our attention to helping Family Resource Centres which support families with much-needed household essentials, and preventing children from going hungry this summer. The Stronger Starts Summer Food Collection is running until September 8th in 115 Tesco stores nationwide. Customers, if they “have a little spare they can share”, are kindly asked to purchase one extra item of non-perishable food items and donate them to the Food Collection trolley in 115 stores nationwide until 8th September, to support families and neighbours in their local community. Here's an example of some products you can donate! #StrongerStarts

The Power to More! https://lnkd.in/emzhXdim Launching today in a comprehensive media campaign, Power to More will show customers how their Clubcard helps even the most everyday purchases become currency of their own. Once customers have accumulated Clubcard points, they can convert them into vouchers which can be used for discounts on their grocery shopping or getting up to three times the voucher value with Clubcard Reward Partners. For example, €5 in vouchers turns into €5 off shopping in-store or online at Tesco.ie but multiplies to €15 when spent with Reward Partners such as Hotels.com, Irish Ferries, Stena Line, Royal Caribbean, Milano and Tesco Mobile. ‘The Power to More’ campaign dramatises our Tesco products as currency, meaning the things that you buy can in turn buy you and your family the things you want. Our TV ad customer uses his Tesco Clubcard to turn everything into currency: baked beans can buy your favourite biscuits, or with Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners, peas can pay for your dinner at Milano, cinema tickets, trips to Dublin Zoo, hotel stays and even cruises. Amanda Farrell, Head of Customer Strategy and Growth at Tesco Ireland, said: “Clubcard has equity as a value signifier and with this campaign we want to surface the breadth of value Clubcard offers to our customers from exclusive deals in-store and online with Clubcard Prices to even more value with Clubcard Reward Partners.” Tesco Clubcard is one of the longest running loyalty programmes in Ireland, having launched in October 1997. Check it out - and keep an eye out for this campaign across all the usual media!
