As the CEO of RegSol, I train and consult with companies primarily in the financial sector to ensure they are compliant with Ireland’s regulatory requirements. I’m also a qualified Barrister and Data Protection Officer, qualifications and experience which feed into my team’s expertise with respect to processing personal data and engaging with legislation. My interests lie in making regulatory compliance as easy as possible. We do this by providing accessible compliance training courses and tailored consultancy services to those who need them.
My areas of expertise include Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Protection, and GDPR, but we offer training, courses, and consultation across the full spectrum of regulatory compliance to ensure that companies in the financial sector have the knowledge and expertise they need to keep running their businesses. As the Central Bank of Ireland requires that many financial sector employees complete a number of mandatory CPD hours every year, we have put our heads together to develop eCourses, webinars and in-house training modules which make training employees even easier. All of our training and content focuses on the Irish context to ensure our training and advice satisfies the regulatory needs of companies operating in Ireland..

How can you find the most effective anti-money laundering tools for your business?
Mapping, mapping and more mapping! You have to understand your risk profile and your existing processes first. Tools are only really useful if they are designed to do the job you need them to do. A lot of work needs to go into the preparation on this one. There are a large volume of 'solutions'/'tools' out there but many are designed to do completely different things. The Central Bank of Ireland in particular places huge stake in 'calibration' of such tools to ensure they are meeting specific needs associated with specific identified (identifiable) risks.
