I helped set up Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet in 1999, taking over as Network Manager in 2001. I have an extensive background in learning and development over my 25 year career in industry engaging across many sectors providing training and development solutions. As a qualified trainer and Network Manager of the Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet I fully understand the changing learning needs of all the sectors that the Skillnet supports in the region.

Our Skillnet currently supports 340 companies in the Carlow and Kilkenny area. We work closely with these companies to identify and analyse their training and development needs. From these needs we design tailored training interventions to upskill staff and develop talent in the region. We also work closely with our industry partners in the region ( South East Regional Skills Forum, Enterprise Ireland, Carlow Chamber of Commerce, Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce, Carlow LEO, Network Ireland). Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet has an extensive library of on line content available to our members along side our newly designed employee assistance programme to help companies and their staff post COVID 19.
