“I cannot recommend Ian highly enough. Ian is a great senior developer and was a great hire for me when I was assembling a team for the startup of the new gTLD Rightside registry in Dublin. Ian initially spent a number of months helping us make a good technical team into a excellent technical team. Ian is a great team lead whose outstanding C# and other technologies coupled with his eagerness to share knowledge, take ownership of difficult problems to solution and a great ability to make complex technologies easier and more manageable for teams to understand. Ian also moved on to and became part of the US development team where he spent the remainder of his almost 2 year term working with the development team in Kirkland USA. Ian worked on front end, backend systems and Database. Ian was always flexible, a quick study, able to assimilate and tackle complex requirements - often to tight and hard deadlines. His work within Rightside helped us to achieve our 'go live deadline' with the best possible quality. Ian is highly motivated and self-directing in both researching and solving problems and is a constant source of information on emerging tools and industry trends. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ian.”

Radio Presenter
Dublin South 93.9 FM
- Present 11 years 5 months
One of the greatest pieces of advice I was given was "know your audience and connect with them"... and this advice has powered the show for over 10 years. A large chunk of the content is sourced from other people, guest mixes, interviews, music promo's sent to me etc. Showing respect to other people, giving them space to "do their art", building a network of peers, as well as having a schedule for the next month, makes this 'work' easier.

My radio show has a completely separate persona than my professional working-day engineering one. If you accidentally tune in and hear, what to most people is "the craziest and hardest rave music broadcast in Ireland", well the next day it is business as usual in the office.
