Accountability is a huge area in DAOs preventing free riding, social loafing etc. The reason being is because not all tasks are easily quantifiable running the risk of some members getting rewarded more handsomely than others. Additionally, such accounability and transparency should be utilized across all aspects of a DAO so as to ensure that one function doesn't suffer as a result of another.

Participate in LinkedIn Live or X spaces and don't be afraid to ask the speakers thought-provoking questions as well as your own thoughts. In doing so, you have the opportunity to impress both the speaker and the audience, which in turn, can lead to new relationships being formed. For devs looking to break into the web3 space, participating in virtual hackatons is a great way to both learn and network. Companies like Ekolance are doing great work in that regard.

As a previous poster said 'find the right ecosystem' and embrace ' ecosystem targeted networking' Build your credibility in an ecosystem that you like and help projects within that ecosystem Projects like to use people who've demonstrated both experience and passion for the same ecosystem. Help a few projects in an ecosystem pro-bono - it need only be for a few hours a week and use that as an opportunity to further grow your network within that ecosystem. You'll quickly find that your reputation will grow within that ecosystem and opportunities will arise within that ecosystem Word of month travels fast within communities

Having attended 8 different in-person events in 2023, I can honestly say that Devconnect in Istanbul was the most insightful. There, I got to learn about a ton about the latest innovations in ZK, Infra, L2s, AA etc. Moreover, in terms of networking - literally everybody was there too. Generally speaking, Barcelona is a fantastic place for blockchain events with Catalan city hosting the likes of EBC, Avalanche Summit and Smartcon last year - all of which were fantastic. Web3 Family are also doing a lot of small events at the minute and Algorand is hosting Decipher there later this year. Any of the ETH Global hackatons are highly recommended too esp if you're a junior developer looking to break into the space

'Valuable' is the key word here. What i’ve learned is that 'reach' is important, but what's even more important is who's actually consuming your content?! For example, if you consistently post generic BS, you’ll probably get BS followers. All in all, you get the audience you deserve. If you want to appeal to your ‘target audience’, you got to tell them something they don’t know already, offer a thought-provoking opinion etc. We're in a nascent industry, nobody's an expert so the content doesn't have to be perfect, but if you want to build your personal brand properly, your contributions need to be authentic. Content should be viewed with 3 goals in mind: 1) Educate others 2) Showcase your worth 3) Foster relationships offline

Many projects in blockchain tech fail to solve everyday problems and don't yet appreciate the needs of the customer. As for how to solve a problem, many blockchain projects listen to their community and while that's very important, their most vocal community members aren't necessarily business customers, rather token investors. Their is a huge lack of appreciation for proper user research across the industry. As vital as your community may be, they shouldn't speak for your next billion users. The next billion users will only want one thing: convenience. Proper user research is required.
