As a member of the Company's Charity Committee, I was delighted to play a part in our "Online Marketing Master Class" for charitable organisations.
In November 2012, our in-house experts gave a little back by sharing their in-depth knowledge with representatives from 20 different Irish charities. The day involved over 20 Paddy Power employees giving of their time in helping each of the organisations understand how PP utilises the various aspect of digital marketing and more importantly, how attendees could apply this knowledge to their own cause.
I lead the team in managing this event which grew from 32 attendees in 2012 to 60 attendees in 2013 and a second event hosted in our London offices. The most recent event in 2014 was a great success with 80 attendees representing over 50 Irish charities receiving advice and guidance from thirty online marketing “gurus.”
