    Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers Phase 1 involves a 6 week intensive styled course that chooses 30 people out of the 180 applicants to participate in, based on their entrepreneurial idea.

    The course focuses on teaching these 30 participants as much as possible about turning an idea or concept into a fully developed business in the 6 week course, and covers a whole range of topics including customer validation, market research, finance, designing an adequate business plan and much more,

    The European Innovation Academy (EIA) is a scholarship based educational institution recognized for excellence in tech entrepreneurship education. EIA educational programs are jointly developed with professionals of world class partner universities and companies: UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Google, Amadeus, IBM, CA and many others. Future entrepreneurs and business leaders are immersed in a multicultural ecosystem of 4000+ alumni and faculty from 75 different nationalities.

    Out of the 400 students chosen to go over based on their entrepreneurial ideas, I was one of the 77 who's idea was picked to run with over the others, and thus had the life changing opportunity to participate in the 3 week accelerator program to try turn their idea into a reality with their own self formed team.

    By the end of the 3 weeks, my team and I built a mobile app on iOS & Android, devised an innovative marketing campaign, and strong market research was carried out to reinforce my concept.
