Today, we’re thrilled to announce a technical partnership with Privasea, a leader in FHEML-focused AI + DePIN computing. Together, we'll be advancing the development of secure AI applications using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). As the world becomes increasingly digitized, the need for robust privacy technologies is more crucial than ever. This necessity has only grown with the advent of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), which utilize massive amounts of data for training and operation. FHE is crucial for the AI Age, as it enables LLMs to process vast data sets without decryption. This results in a safer, more secure relationship between users and the AIs they interact with. The Fhenix and Privasea partnership will leverage both parties' expertise to advance development at the intersection of AI and blockchain. This collaboration includes initiatives in both software and hardware: Software: - Extending Zama’s TFHE-rs library. - Integrating Privasea applications on Fhenix. - Integrating additional homomorphic encryption schemes based on CKKS/BGV/BFV. Hardware: - Accelerating hardware performance of the underlying NTT/FFT using high-parallelism, high-performance hardware such as GPUs and FPGAs. - Programming custom ASIC chips to improve Fhenix’s performance. This collaboration marks a significant step towards utilizing FHE at the intersection of AI and blockchain. We’re excited to work together with Privasea to usher FHE into the AI Age. We're also releasing the initial version of the Fhenix testnet, Helium, allowing anyone to deploy confidential smart contracts using FHE to encrypt all or part of their applications. Ethereum continues to innovate and improve, yet the world's largest smart contract platform still faces a major impediment to its growth and maturity: it has no confidentiality. To fulfill Ethereum's promise of a permissionless network that returns sovereignty to its users, it must incorporate robust and scalable data encryption. We've spent years researching the answer to this problem and concluded that FHE is the ideal solution. FHE allows computation on encrypted data, a key distinction with far-reaching implications. FHE has recently become feasible for production use thanks to advancements in research and hardware. Fhenix aims to bring the power of FHE to the Ethereum ecosystem by lowering the barrier to entry of confidentiality-enabled smart contract development through the first EVM-compatible FHE Layer 2. 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗩𝘀) At Level 5, vehicles can operate without any human intervention under all conditions. The AI systems for these vehicles would need to handle complex scenarios and make split-second decisions. Startups building this tech include Einride, Cortica, and Nuro. 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗙𝗛𝗘) FHE allows computations to be carried out on encrypted data, without needing to decrypt it. This could revolutionize data privacy, enabling AI to learn from data without actually accessing sensitive information. Startups building this tech include Fhenix and PrivID, Inc..
