We are thrilled to share the continued momentum in the development and connection of renewable energy projects across the country. Last week, in partnership with Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, we connected an additional #storage project, marking another milestone in our successful collaboration. Today, Nofar proudly boasts 4 MW of #solar systems on rooftop under high #FIT rates and approximately 11 MW of storage facilities at Nir Yitzhak. We are especially proud of our ongoing initiatives and execution in Nir Yitzhak and the surrounding border communities, despite the challenges since October 7. Our commitment to advancing our projects in these areas remains strong, continuing to contribute to energy security and supporting the community in every possible way. Nir Yitzhak is just one of the many successful partnerships out of hundreds across Israel, as of today, Nofar’s has 350 MW of connected and ready-to-connect projects across Israel. These projects promise high returns from long-term FIT rates, focusing on the most profitable segments. Our thoughts are with the hostages and their families. Fantastic news! The UK's new Labour government is kicking things off with a strong commitment to renewable energy by removing the nine-year de facto ban on onshore wind developments in England. In tandem, planning consents were provided for three large scale solar projects and hybrid solar and BESS projects, with total capacity of 1,350 MW/1.3GW. These projects qualify as ‘nationally significant infrastructure projects’ (NSIPs) and their planning approvals send another strong message from the new UK government. Noventum Power, our UK development platform has rapidly created a high-quality portfolio of approximately 3 GW of renewable projects. The renewable supportive approach of the new UK government marks a significant shift in the UK’s energy policy and will boost the growth of Noventum Power! We at Nofar strategically focus our efforts on segments, regulations, and countries that offer high and guaranteed rates, ensuring a sustainable and profitable future. In our ongoing effort to minimize exposure to electricity rate fluctuations, we employ strategic thinking through Feed-in Tariffs (#FIT), Contracts for Difference (#CFD), and Power Purchase Agreements (#PPA). These measures have proven effective, as evidenced by the fact that 76% of our connected projects benefit from guaranteed tariffs for an average of 15 years. Nofar has completed construction to 1,130 MW of #PV (Photovoltaic) projects and 115 MWh of Energy #Storage across 9 regions. Additionally, we have 1,162 MW of PV and 940 MWh of Storage projects under construction.   Nofar is proud to announce the commencement of operations of our Buxton #BESS Project in the UK. We are happy to share that our Buxton project (30MW/60MWh) has now commenced commercial operations with Goldman Sachs as the optimizer. This is an important milestone of Atlantic Green's growth as a leading BESS player in the UK market and as Nofar's rapidly expanding UK BESS platform. Buxton project was completed in record time, contributing to a robust pipeline of sustainable initiatives, with more projects to come. #MEETTHETEAM Meet Andrew Middleton. Andrew is the CEO of Noventum Power, our majority-owned UK renewables development platform.   Andrew has vast #renewables development experience – ranging from development to co-development, in the UK, Germany, Italy and other EU countries. Andrew has been with us for the past three years; his role and the Noventum Power's team's responsibilities are pivotal to our UK growth.   Noventums’ team members are currently responsible for developing over 3GW of renewable energy projects throughout the UK, with more to come. Noventum Power, a UK based company with expertise in the development of renewable energy projects, was established by Nofar in 2021 as a joint venture with PowerCo Renewable Energy and with Andrew as the CEO, who brings extensive experience from senior management positions in global renewables companies. Noventum's organizational infrastructure is built on deep expertise and in-depth knowledge of greenfield project development in the UK.   Since its formation, Noventum Power has rapidly created a high-quality portfolio of approximately 3.3GW, including grid connections, land agreements and planning in progress, adding significant value. Noventum's projects create flexibility for its' shareholders– in the sense of its ability to develop, construct and hold the projects for the long term as power producing projects, as well as the potential to divest of some projects at RTB stage.   As the UK energy market rapidly moves towards decarbonizing its economy, large opportunities are developing and Noventum Power is at the forefront of this development.
